probably said before but too lazy to read walls of text on the previous pages it's most likely an italian car, based on the Fiat 500(1960's version) to probably be released with Italy(come on it kinda makes sense) that is all.
This seems familiarar Charmand 1304 B? Jargl Sqit soliad palisade Did everyone forget about this concept list
Alright so here is my take on the new car. Im pretty sure the new car is going to be something that is similar to the karmann ghia. It looks to be like a karmann ghia but may have a few characteristics to the beetle. But, i dont think the car will resemble a beetle much at all. What o you guys think about this? What the karmann ghia looks like. So some people think the new car will be a beetle but i dont think it will because in a beetle the engine takes up much more space in the engine bay while the karmann ghia does not. The beamng pic looks more similar to the karmann ghia not the beetle Beetle Engine bay.....see how the engine takes up much more room?
The problem is on the very far right, there's a shape that would be the taillight. But on the Ghia, the taillight doesn't stick out like that. Plus, the trunk is way too short to be a Ghia.
I’ve been trying to avoid thinking it could be like a Ghia. It would be too disappointing if I get my hopes up, I love those cars.
few pages ago I thought it could be the sqit but was quickly proven wrong as they were almost no swedish rear-engined cars
Awesome news! I've been saying how cool it would be to have a low power rear engine car with swing axles for a while, and I'm glad we are getting one. It's in all likelihood based off of a VW from the picture. Hopefully there are a number of bodystyles, like van and wagon (VW squareback) and it will flip super easily if it has swing axles. Even with ~50 hp, it will be a riot. Plus, Beam needed some properly slow (and fragile) cars. I don't understand why people think the I-series is based off an Audi. Sure, the front clip somewhat resembles an 80/100/5000, but the rest of the car from the RWD proportions, styling, to the inline 6 and rear wheel based AWD are pure E30/E28.
it looks a bit like a Quattro and a 80/100 but I think the Ghia/beetle based car will be a charmand it just sounds right
It's highly likely to not be a Charmand. Sure, there have been many rear-engined French cars (Renault Dauphine/A110/4CV, for example), but those all used inline-four engines, not flat-fours. A Beetle-esque German vehicle is by far the most likely vehicle that this will become.

Except that the Ghia is a notchback, while what we are seeing is a fastback. The closest long-lasting counterexamples are the Chevrolet Corvette and Toyota Century - and neither is European, plus the Corvette is a "people's sports car", and the Century is "stealth wealth'. The Bolide is neither stealth nor down-to-earth.
Another company wich tried to make sportscars and a city car was aston martin but they gave up on it as it wouldnt sell and it was for diffrent reasons wich didnt work
