   I have VERY limited internet and whenever I play Beam, it hogs all my internet with updates to mods and such that I do not want. How can I disable this?

   I believe online features can be disabled in settings.

   Nope, that's another thing.
   
   In Options > Gameplay (or User Interface, can't recall), there's a specific setting for 'Automatic Mod Downloading'. Disable that to turn it off.
