Update Speculation thread

Looks more like 'A B' to me.

In the seventies, it was somewhat popular to modify Volkswagen Beetles by swapping the boxer for the I4 engine from a Ford Pinto ("Pinto Beans" conversion kits were available from most VW aftermarket parts catalogs). The swap was common enough (especially among Baja bugs), that some have survived to the present day. The beauty of the swap is that, because of the way the beetle is set up, you can just let the engine hang out of the back - no firewall mods needed.

Our mystery aircooler appears to have less space in the back, but nevertheless, I'm certain that some enterprising modder will try to jam the I4 from the Miramar into this thing.

 

Here's a quick outline as well.
Can't wait to rip into those texture files so I can make a higher quality one.

 

This new update looks extremely promising:

What I think we will see:

Terrains:
Italy
Map updates for ECA, HR, JRI? (It seems that the ai pathing is being reworked, might be an excuse to improve the maps)
Removal of a number of bus stops and/or changes to the models

Vehicles:
New "AD" car
Wentward DT40L Bendy Bus (Mentioned a while back that it wasn't ready, but WIP. It's been a couple months, so who knows?)
Likely new vehicle variants to go with Italy (Such as an Italian police vehicle)

Scenarios:
Possibly the JRI Bus Tour scenario?

Engine/Gameplay:
Improved AI


Also: For the people who claim that the new vehicle pics are on Italy, they are not. It is the small sandy cove on Jungle Rock Island.

 

The text said a new marque, I said it could be a modern Chinese sports saloon. It looks small so it should be light. With a decent engine maybe it could be sporty with a good power to weight ratio. The vehicle’s badge is compromised of some lines, just like Mandarin characters. I think I was on to something!

I suck at making conspiracy theories... I am sure some people will be taking this seriously anyway.

Anyway... The panel in the picture seems kinda steep for a purely Beetle inspired car. My vote is a VW/Fiat mix, possibly with hints of some other European stuffs.

 

If you look in the reflection. You can see that the car is possibly on Italy.

 

Nah, there's a barrier reflected in the car, there are no barriers like that on JRI as far as I know
and it looks to pale to be West Coast, if that makes sence.

 

To clear this up:

First pic of the car was on JRI
New one is on Italy

 

The car is yellow, a common color on Fiat 500s/600s and Volkswagen Beetles.

 

The two-letter name (ex. VW) tells me there's gonna be beetle influence, along with the model line in the hood. I still think that there will be fiat influence though.

 

I'm hoping that this is an Italian car, because we have enough German vehicles.

VW has letter V and next is W so my speculation is if first word of the car is A then the second one will be B

Auto Domani would actually make some sense as it is Car Tomorrow or something like that, but that would be Auto Di Domani if my Italian is not completely rubbish.

However if it is Italian brand, they do have wonderful way of putting words and it might not be quite so simple name, as it is small car they might label it as Aumenta Le Dimensioni

AB would be easy, Auto Bravissimo, which is a good car.

 

Logo reminds me of Morris Garages (MG) - British company.
