You're right; that is a Dove. Also, I haven't been releasing very many spoilers recently because...well...not much really happens in Chapter 4 Part 1. But it will be necessary for setting up the rest of the story.
Yep, they're pretty much the "high-class" members of this vehicular society. Technically, yes. However, unlike the Cars-verse (where everything living in our universe has been replaced by mechanical life), the Green Ghost universe will still have humans and animals and all the regular life that we have in our world, and (most importantly of all) it will have lots of established rules that are strictly followed throughout every story. Also, my Green Ghost stories won't have sentient planes, trains, or boats, or pretty much anything except regular cars and trucks. (There are three or four other classes of sentient vehicles in this universe, but they're very much in the minority.)
Okay but the whole 'cars with winshield eyes' I think is just to Cars-ish. I think it should've been something like the cars were actually able to comunicate telapethicly instead of bumper mouths and stuff.
That is actually what I was thinking of when I first started this whole thing; in fact, I was thinking of having Percy and Carla lose their ability to speak (and all their anthropomorphism) and have them communicate telepathically to each other in the sequels. However, I scrapped that idea while actually planning out the sequels, as I realized that that would be a bit...strange, shall I say, for them to be the only ones who look lifeless. (And there's a reason in-universe why most cars have windshield eyes, which will be expounded upon much later on in this story.) Oh, and they still can communicate to each other over long distances by using their radios (or, in Percy's case, his warning sticker). However, quite a few cars in this universe still use headlight eyes (i.e. pre-1948 cars), something which will also be explained in this story (or at least in one of these stories).

No, I was not intending on suggesting that. I was suggesting that it was so close to the second-gen Charger that it would have been a little odd to include it into the series. If I did suggest that it was a ripped mod, I apologize for that bit of confusion. I don't think that the Land Lark is old enough; however, if it is, then I absolutely will include it. I'm aiming for twelve chapters of about 5,000 words each (admittedly, Chapters 3 and 4 both clock at 5200-5400 words each, so they'll likely be the longest chapters of the bunch.
Hopefully "Carla" is like Shingo in which she wants to crash her opponent when racing (and eventually crashes while racing Percy).
I'd liken her more to either one of the Takahashi brothers (Keisuke's attitude/Ryosuke's driving skill) or possibly Kai Kogashiwa. However, I will admit that I was originally planning on having her crash (and die) while racing Percy in the final chapters of the story.

Chapter 4 Part 2 is out! Boy, was that some great fun, Percy thought. It may not have been nearly as thrilling as that race I ran against Adrian and Walter…but it still was a nice refresher after all these months of loneliness.
