Haven't done much, but while trying to get back into modeling, I made a very simple rollcage for the 2-door opentop & a new bullbar. Had planned to make some "hightech" bumpers, but didn't have enough time
umm if you guys are planning to make a military version remember its wider than the civialian model to fit in tank tracks
What? The Civilian and Military version's (especially the older ones) are identical in almost every aspect even down to the tires. With the earliest versions they were even assembled on the same assembly line until they got to the point where the interior was going to be installed, then and only then would they diverge into the Hummer H1 and the M998 assembly lines. The only thing that really makes their widths any different is the type of mirrors they use, and, in a slight bit if irony, the Hummer H1 actually comes in at 1 inch wider because of its wider mirrors. Edit: Before anyone decides to mention it... yes, later models started sharing less and less mechanically with the military version, but 4 things always remained the same. The body, the frame, the suspension A-Arms, and the lights... thus the width remained identical right up until the end.
You must learn boy. @atv_123 used to work on Humvees. He even owns one. So he knows more about it than you do.
sorry i heard from my dad that they were less wider my dad was a mechanic in the army and he worked on the Humvee so ya he thot they were less wider
The H2 and H3 was much smaller in width, but the H1 is identical. I can see why one would think that though as back when they first came out, Humvees and Hummers were huge. There was nothing like them on the road before. No one had ever seen an 85 inch wide vehicle before as the standard F-150 of the day was a full 7 inches narrower while counting its mirrors. It just dwarfed everything. Turn the clock to today however and the story changes a bit. Now just about every truck on the market is wider than an H1. Hell, even a Volkswagen Jetta is almost the same length as one. The H1 looks.... rather small in comparison now. So if he worked on them in the 80's and 90's and then only saw an H1 in the 2000's or 2010's, the H1's would end up looking much smaller than he remembered... which would make total sense.
it was more of when i was little he told me about it but know that i know the truth its better then going of that lie anyways yes this mod is amazing i cant whait to haul a T-series up a mountain
Made some progress today. It's mainly just some parts that I would like for the B1 to have at release
Made a set of custom rims for the default tires Thanks to @Nadeox1 for help with rotation the rim design --- Post updated --- A little render with new wheels
Cut(off) hood And as I said, at this point only textures, UVs & jbeams are left to do, so yeah. And yes, I know I keep adding stuff, but that's the things I wanted to have on it before release. I could have made them long ago, but I feel that recently I made quite a "jump" in my Blender skills, so I'm making them now as last minute thing. I don't have a release date yet, but it should be Soon™
it just keeps looking better and better on realese are you gonna ask ybr to review your hummer ill be down to do it to
