I currently have an MSI GTX 1060 6GB. Struggling with performance issues right now as I found out my room had bad power and was damaging components, but it's pretty solid when I can actually get games to run.

MSI GTX 1060 6GB, I think its the OCV1... Funny thing is I purchased it last year for my first build and a week later, Crypto Mining took its toll on the GPU market.

RX 470 clocked at 1360 mhz, from Asus Strix. It gets 80 to 100 fps with settings at 1440p and medium to high with Rainbow Six siege, amazing value for it since I got it on sale but it does get a bit toast in my not so great air-flow case so it does throttle from time to time.

I have to agree with this! As I mentioned in my post above, I have a 750Ti in one of my PC's. It is definitely the best budget GPU you could get. You can turn pretty much any normal computer with a decent CPU into a PS3/XB360 killer. Mine is almost 4 years old and still going. The 750ti is what turned me into a PC enthusiast.

Watercooled EVGA GTX 980Ti ACX 2.0 SC... theres probably more to the name, but I really cant remember. Its not a hybrid card, though.

Especially considering the fact that I know EKWB doesn't sell the block for it anymore.

I have been playing with gtx1080 for a while now, it is bit of a joke in Beam as it would need overclocked 8086K for not being limited by CPU, but nvenc works well enough with all the unused GPU power.

NVENC should work at 100% 3d usage, but it never does. What I notice is that if vRAM usage is too high then NVENC stuttters, and on my 2gb card that happens a lot.
You could do dynamic super resolution on BeamNG if that extra gpu power is burning a hole through your uhh PC.

Anyway, mine is an Asus Strix OC GTX 960 2GB, at 1342MHz core, but I can push it to 1410MHz, but it causes NVENC to crap out and I use NVENC almost all the time! The vRAM is so limiting on my card, I really want to get rid of it..

Also, I would like to get an AMD card with free sync as I have a compatible monitor, but I don't want to give up NVENC, on my 960 it has HEVC and I'll never be able to get a card in AMD's price ranges that supports HEVC encode (only one is Vega!).

And then there's also the argument that I might just run my GTX 960 into the ground, I don't have the money to spend on gaming really, I'm 16, need a new laptop, will have driving lessons (expensive!) and taking 4 A-Levels (16-18 2 year courses) and so a part time job might just kill me :p
