Yeah mate, North East VIC. ext and crew cab are done and working beautifully, rear shocks are still invisible and there is a few issues with the front driveshaft mesh so I'll be hiding it for this release but I'll try to package everything up soon, even if I dont get the configurations completed. (half the fun is building your own anyway) Still working on the car irl at the moment though
I know its not an issue on your end but mod looks sick on this updated "russian" jeep but can anyone help with when you change axles the engine stops working only runs in its stock form unfortuantely
Oh man, this thing is badass. I was happy you made it so all the basic parts of the truck can be used. I love when modders do that, there's so many that don't and it just bugs me. I wish I knew how to convert all that stuff, I'd totally do it for all the vehicles that have it. But this thing is something else. I set it up with bus engine in the back. Strengthened the suspension so it can handle the weight and man or man, does it work.
There's an old truggy mod from the early days of the game floating around that's pretty much exactly that, but it probably doesn't work anymore and even if it did it's horrendously outdated and probably missing tons of features.
Yeah mate, I'll get around to sorting that out, will keep it in mind for the next update. Barstow issue should be fixed, it was caused by a name conflict with 3d models in the common folder. At some point I will be, I think I have a copy of the really old truggy mod that cranky was talking about, I'll see if I can find to OP and ask if I can incorporate parts from it. It will save a lot of time modelling and jbeaming if they give me the all clear, and its nice to see old mods revived
Yeah it says on the first page that they have been "temporarily" removed, I have to sort out meshes ect before I put them back in. If you still have the old mod, the file was under a different name (d15 rock hogger), I suggest deleting it as there was a lot of bugs and the configurations that were in it will be replaced in a coming update.
I just downloaded my first folder of your work of art about 2 hours ago... Looking forward to playing with it & hoping to be able to use my favourite CreasingCurve engine pack in it.. Maybe even Bombboy4 engine pack also.. 10l V8's ;-) Now Off-Topic comments... Hope I don't offend.... But Aussies are a tough bunch so most wouldn't hurt.. PS... Victorian also... PPS Ford or Holden... Neither as I prefer Chrysler Valiant Pacer, Charger & Centura running the 265 semi Hemi 6 cylinder that faded away back in 1981 So now the Holden and Ford fans know the pain of being ditched by their loved car brand aswell now China has taken car Manufacturing away from AussieLand... Use to be able to buy complete Vals from the wrecker for $200.00 around 20 years ago.. Now ithey've boomed in price.. Ok As I'm Aussie I'd lean more towards Holden like most Aussies but I prefer the real Holdens instead of the Opel based Commodores modified to suit Aussie conditions and Rev Heads (Gear Heads in American) followed by older Aussie Falcons.. With 4x4's I drove a Land Rover Disco 1 V8 with coil springs that resembled a mountain goat more then a 4x4 as it could climb just about anything with it's huge articulation flex aswell as being able to fly through roundabouts at 100+kmh while most other 4x4's had to slow down due to wanting to roll over and lay down for sleeps... Oil leaks never stopped it.. Never stopped the oil leaks either lol Also like Nissan (Datsun) Patrol & who needs articulation flex when you are Toyota Tough.. GP's (JEEP's) are cool too with flex articulation.. Again I'm excited to be able to use your 4x4 work of art... Be great if you also made 6x6 versions too... And yes real 4x4 drivers prefer automatics instead of manual.
"Be great if you also made 6x6 versions too..." I'm considering merging this and the hopper 6x6 offroad pack to make parts easily available between the two.. I would also like to include support for the H series and Pigeon at some point but these things are all just ideas that I have been playing with. Thanks for the kind words though, the community here is absolutely fantastic and its the attitude of everyone on the forums that makes these mods possible. I've had a lot of help from many members over the years as I have learnt how to create content, without it I would have stopped years ago.
