Yeah bud, I meant to do that before release to be honest and completely forgot. I'll check to see if I can work out whats going on.. I know its missing a few textures as the intercooler and piping etc is custom made and I haven't UV mapped or textured any of it yet, I just went with "stealth black" for now but I think its actually tied to the selectable 3rd color.
I had that problem too so I deactivated all my mods and loaded in the just this mod then went to the main menu and reactivated my other mods and it was fine
Cheers for the heads up mate. Has anyone had an issue with differential ratios not sticking when playing with the tuning menu?
the rear tires seem to become unstable when used with the original leaf and 3-link suspension. Also the front suspension seems to lift up when braking down steep hills, not sure if this is caused by having the control arms to close together on the chassis side.
when i change to the hog0005 frame the rear suspension bottoms out instantly and has no suspension travel, please help
thank you for the amazing work after milking the stock suspension for years I can finally replace it with your amazing setup and 2nd pic is my personal version of the truck
I have adjusted the rear suspension to allow more travel fixing the problem of the rear being much lower than the front. Install this file to Offroad_Pickup_hog0005.zip>Vehicles>Common>Hog0005>Pickup
Some things that I would love to see added is possibly a better sound for the 6.7 and a turbo whistle with a bov sound, ability to change gear ratio for the trans on the 6.7 along with a 6 speed manual that has changeable gear ratios, a drop hitch if possible and if the exhaust for 6.7 could be as a muffler add on that would be sweet
I have no idea why the diesel has no turbo sound... nothing i have tried so far seems to make it work... if i make any head way ill be sure to update asap... Will have a small patch available soon that adresses the suspension adjustments and changes a few values to make to twin transfer cases work smoother --- Post updated --- I'll try to sort out the diesel exhaust as a muffler at some point as i would like to incorporate it with all engines.. i just need to make a few adjustments to tge mesh in order for everything to mate up better
As long as you know what I mean does it really matter were talking about a sound in a game not building a diesel irl also maybe stock they don't but im sure it is possible to have on added may not be the same setup but im sure do have them --- Post updated --- sounds good I haven't even messed with the twin transfer cases yet
I haven't had any issues with the latest version so far, but I haven't messed too much with the tuning options though. I did make a rather ridiculous offroading box truck using the D35 configuration with a few tweaks that made it surprisingly far on crawl central.
Its great to see you guys posting shots of your builds. I really enjoy seeing everyone getting creative and contributing to the thread. I'm currently working out a couple of minor gremlins (reducing lateral shake in the rear axle) and working on the rear steering that a few of you guys have requested. Looking at the way things are going I think that the rear arms will need to be shortened to near the same length as the front in order to get enough angle out of them to keep the axle from shifting sideways.. This will mean you have to trade rear suspension travel for extra maneuverability if you choose to fit the rear steering axle. That said it should still articulate as well as the current front axle. I also have a set of rockwell axle models that Jacklumba supplied me with when working on the hopper, I need to jbeam them and work out linkages, but they are a fair bit wider than the stock ones and should go well underneath for the hardcore build guys. (cough, cough, 54s and rear steering on a crew cab, cough)
Could make a leaf spring suspension with traction bars that could be lifted as much or close to as much as this 4 link
I'll look into it, shouldn't be too hard to get something working.. it probably wont have as much adjustment due to the leaf shape but the ride height should be easy enough to get Yeah mate that's an easy one, I'll try to include it in the next update.... Even if its not meshed yet. Cheers bud, glad you're enjoying it.
