Are you bored with normal engine sounds?

    I am.

Can people make custom sounds and post them? I would love to see people making custom engine sounds included with their cars (AND planes )

Not hard to make them yourself either. Cause I have, they just need fine tuning not to sound too computer generated

what I did to make some sounds was to open the original engine sound in Audacity to hear what it was like out of the game. Then just make a loop out of an appropriate sound and replace the original. I now drive around in what sounds like the Jetsons car lol. you may need to adjust the speed/pitch of the clip to make sure its not too low or high pitched at the extremes of the rev range. If the pitch is to high at full revs, lower the pitch of the sound loop.

I was in hysterics seeing what funny sounds I could make. I recorded myself saying "bibble bibble" that was a hoot. I did a squeaky dogs toy, blew a raspberry, stuck some cardboard in a moving fan blade(That sounded quite good), used the famous screaming goat from you tube which incidentally makes a good replacement for the tire screech sound.

Though for best results it would seem you need to get a sound of an engine under constant load at around mid rev range.
