i was just wandering if there would be a way of making the shocks/coil-overs longer.
do i just increase the precomp and adjust the spring and damp. i want to mod a vehicle to give it loads of travel with rely soft and damped suspension. please help

realistically its more than that.... because a suspension setup has a set amount of travel that is dependent on how its located (a-arms, leaf springs, bump stops, ect), it would require some modification to the jbeam as well as some modification to the 3d model to extend the locating mechanisms for longer travel. i.e. longer A-Arms generally equals a longer travel potential, but a wider wheel base. A leaf spring setup would be easiest to modify.... i think. Discovered this by trial and error as well

You can only apply a lift to a point, where the suspension is at its limit. A-arms just can't reach or pivot that far. Just need to re-make or get anew vehicle :l

May be possible to tweak the precompression to cause the A-Arms to stretch on vehicle spawn.
