A modern engine in an old car? I mean, like why would you that do that if @Blijo wants his car nice and clean?
Assumptions, assumptions, assumptions. I don't think I will add an electric powertrain, but not because I "want my car nice and clean" but because it's a lot of extra work. IF you read the thread and payed close attention to what I said, you could have noticed that there are currently 3 power options of which one will go(hatch engine). So, to stop your discussions now: The plans for the drivetrain are: 1.25L xpag engine with A standard block, cams and shizzle. A version with different cams, higher rpm limit(these engines were highly tuneable) A version with a supercharger. And it will have the bolide V8 with a different intake (might go for animated ITB's) and with different specs. I tried it with the fastest bolide V8, 3.9L with race everything and higher rev limit but that was a bit too much for the old chassis. So I hope this stops the endless engine X fits blah @Blijo wants this blah blah. I do what I want, some suggestions are welcome from time to time but chances are that I will ignore them. And please don't answer questions for me, or do it on my exams as well.
Nice work Blijo! I think that this mod is good for the Repo! I like that you have scavenged parts from the Miramar and Pigeon suspension. Amazing!
Some progress: Finally redid the jbeam of the hood and some tweaks in the firewall. I am talking with the Dutch TD club to get some info, also wrote an article for their magazine about this mod. I might present and demonstrate the mod to them at one of their meetings. I will also be on holiday next week, I will check the forums and my mail but not every hour or something
Yus, autocorrect died (again) for some reason, when I click on correct, it duplicates the already typed part..
