(sry i'm not english so i think my english is really bad)
Hi i search on the forum but i don't find anything about that.
The démo got big bugs like slow fps for 3 or four second on my computer ( but i've got a GTX660m, I73630QM, 8go ram ) .
When i look to my performance stats, i see that beamNG doesn't use more or less than 2go of ram ( i try on hoghest quality and the lowest in 1600*900, 1280*720 and any changes )
What can i do for use the maximum of ram ?

Why are you trying to make it use more ram? In the demo you probably can't do much that'll use more ram... in game you could spawn a few extra cars in a nice big detailed map.

I used to have a decent explanation of why more RAM won't make things faster but it involved diagrams I have lost (not technical ones) and a lengthy explanation (again, nothing technical surprisingly) and I am on my phone so can't type it all out.

If a programming only needs a certain amount of RAM, it won't benefit from being allocated more in any way whatsoever. Won't help beamNG, and its memory allocation is not controllable either.

Is your laptop plugged in and is it sitting on a desk or some other hard surface.

    If no, that's your problem.

There's obviously nothing wrong with the code itself because everyone would be seeing the problem. Either your hardware is overheating or something else is trying to use a considerable amount of your CPU while you're playing.

I used to get random FPS slowdowns in maps which were heavy on my graphics card when I had V-Sync on. If you have V-Sync on try turning it off.
