In case there was any doubt, that holiday means that I can work on this, not that I'll be away (although I may be for a short while sometime).

Here's a mock-up of the rear suspension and drivetrain as it stands:

Excellent work mate, I'm stoked to see that its all coming together for you.

I like the fact that you plan on open testing.
Sure, certain projects may need closed test groups for one reason or another but I think its great when modders get the community involved in the process, it helps others learn along the way as well.

Feel free to hit me up if you have any more questions :)

    Thanks for the support :p
After re-inforcing the 'steer' node a bit more and in different places, I've managed to make it steer freely like a normal Beam car would, and managed to get 32° of steering angle in both directions.
I don't know much about angle, but that seems pretty decent.

Edit - ChrisFix's Driftstang had a stock angle of 30°.

Thats great, I'll have to have a look once you release a prototype, if thats ok.
Steering strength / geometry is one of the things I still struggle with in some of my builds.

The Blackfoot is now on 4 wheels!
Massive thanks to @Firepower for making this happen.
I'm currently moving the engine nodes to fit @Capkirk 's engines in, and get this running!

Liking this project so far, seems like its coming along nicely.

I would say you need to beef up the pillars a bit though, all around they are a bit too thin really.

If you haven't seen it yet, this video is super useful for references:

I've seen the video actually, back when I was making the chassis itself
The pillars are a bit thin, but they're fine, and they hold up well. The car can withstand its weight and a bit more while upside down as it is.

Yeah, and it's not an exact copy of the jeep either.

After a bit of tweaking (re-making the entire front suspension and reworking the brakes/4WD), a driveable beta is finally ready enough for you people to have a go with.
Now, this is nowhere near finished, so please do not complain that things are missing/untextured/not properly mapped, as these are all work in progress.
Weights and body damage are also very WIP. The same applies for those

I would advise staying away from the parts selector, as some parts are unfinished. Configurations with every stock engine have been made for you to use.

Do NOT re-upload this version ANYWHERE, if you want someone else to use it then link this post instead of re-uploading the car.

Anyway, with that considered, I hope you guys have fun! :p

Big thanks to @Firepower for helping out with the suspension and drivetrain so far :D, as well as @hog0005 and @Capkirk for their help also.
Thanks to all of you so far as well for your awesome support and positivity for this car, it really does motivate me with it. It wouldn't be here at this point without you! :)
