As soon as I got the game I expected my Razer Sabertooth (wired) 360 controller to work. It did not. I saw all sorts of stuff about codes and searching for certain lines in the tourgue3d file that I can't find.. I'm no coder.. I'm a driving and physics game lover who just wants to be able to make it down the road XD it's impossible to drive with a keyboard and until I have another option, perhaps when the compatibility issues are fixed or there's an easier way to configure non-keyboard components I'll play. However until then, I will be sad :(

For different brand controllers you need a different output file in the file with all the other files, so try finding one on the forums to do with razor. Also xpadder is basically a keyboard on whatever controller you get. don't use it unless you are prepared to basically have an extended keyboard. Hope I helped

I use http://pinnaclegameprofiler.com/ no converting keys to keyboard if you don't wish to, you can adjust joystick dead zone's and range of motion etc. It's paid but I think the trial seems to always work infinitely for me just a nag window on startup.

GameStop sells wired 360 controllers for the PC for like $20. It's their brand, but it's always detected properly by games. I recommend them to anyone looking to just plug and play.

I only say that because I hate messing with third party programs to get a controller working.

I don't know how much it helps, but there's also this program called JoytoKey (and it's free) that also does the whole joystick to keyboard emulator. I can't remember exactly all the options, but you could even emulator the mouse, but that's all I know...

I have a Razer Sabertooth which I bought almost entirely because of this game (but it works well with Just Cause 2) and also cannot create an input map to save my life... :( Help? Please?
