So I think it would be cool and more realistic if when you start sliding sideways the tires dig into the dirt and you flip just like in real life

What do you mean? This is already in the game, just go over to the terrain demonstration areas on Gridmap. If you enter the mud or sand in a reasonably tall vehicle and slide into it sideways, you will easily flip as the tires get buried in the terrain.

So... do you expect pavement to flip you over? I mean what is your point here? Dirt, sand and mud are the things that tires dig into.

Well what? If cars flipped on tarmac there would be major safety issues and drifting wouldn't exist. Also, flipping on gravel is even harder because of the lower friction coefficient. It's the ground being wet and muddy that causes a flip in the situation, which is simulated.
Of course, take a lifted Jeep with big tires and drift and you'll probably flip but you can do that in game, take the hopper custom, supercharge it and lift it a bit and it'll flip with some drifting.

Like, yknow how when people start sliding on the highway then hit the dirt it grabs the tires then it digs in and flips the vehicle, not on tarmac, TARMAC IS NOT DIRT

Made a suggestion like this before but for grass. Its kinda silly watching a car slide off the road, upside down going 60 MPH into the grass and looking like its just sliding across asphalt. It would be cool to see a car react to different surfaces more realistically. The only places you see any depth to the surfaces is mud and sand from what I have experienced.

That's up to the map creator, any surface can have depth, almost any amount, and it only depends on the map maker whether they decide to use depth or not. I made a map long ago that had very subtle depth on the grass and it was pretty nice.

Yeah, if you wanna top that, add mud deformation like in motorstorm or spintires, but maybe later...

I think I get what he means. You can dig places where there is grass, and I think he as talking about grass. Which you might dig into while going sideways. Probably not while drifting. I think this would be very hard to recreate in game tho. Right now you just fall into the mud, but if you could simulate digging into it when spinning the tires. This would be very cool if you could simulate. On grass, you could dig way slower for example. This is a nice example of digging marks on grass

I get that the tires dig into the ground and cause a rollover, but what about when something, say, a rock hits one tire, it then causes a rollover if its is in the conditions, The only time it will rollover from digging is if the tire is like in in the ground.
    OT:
Rip the cars and drivers, I hope they were ok
