There is some story for this. I have seen some making (attempting to make) drift cars out from 80's sporty luxury vehicles, so this is basically such.

80's luxury oddball, hydro suspension, I6 Turbo making 360hp and manual transmission with RWD, because of high weight, it really is not very fast, with big wing it becomes even slower and to top it off, this happens to be convertible.

Door lock is purposely placed really weird way, car is oddball, bit like late 70's Citroen was with insane designs.

    Calidad Pratico
    HighresScreenshot00003.png
A 2012 4-door SUV based off of the Toyota Highlander and 4Runner. With Toyota reliability and a $30k pricetag, the Calidad Pratico is a perfect family car. It comes in 2 variants as well, an N/A model and a twin turbo model giving the Pratico a slight increase in power and a whole 3 more MPG.

    Calidad Fenice
    HighresScreenshot00004.png
A 1980-1982 2-door coupe based off of the Pontiac Firebird Trans Am. An iconic 80s design mixed with a low $15k pricetag* and a meaty 5.7L V8, the Calidad Fenice is a roadster just for you. It comes in 7 variants ranging from the base model all to sport, SS, GT, homologation, and AWD models all sporting the same design but powerful enhancements under the hood including professional tuning and a twin turbo.
    * for base model only, prices may vary for other models

    Calidad Tornade
    HighresScreenshot00006.png
A 2014 4-door SUV based off of the Lamborghini Urus packs a 4L V8 under the hood and luxury you'd expect from a Lamborghini Calidad. Don't let the hefty $92k pricetag hold you back though, the suspension offers comfort and sport unlike any other vehicle you've ever seen and the engine gives the Tornade a feeling you can only get from a powerful, high-revving V8. Only one trim (Essence) currently, but many others are WIP.

    Calidad R10 Concept
    HighresScreenshot00007.png
Not available to purchase but available at any car show worth its' salt, this 2005 hypercar packs a 3.7L V10 flatplane under the hood that makes a sweet sound. This car has set records on multiple test tracks utterly destroying anything you've ever seen, but the amount of downforce created leaves most drivers with slight brain damage. It isn't turbocharged, for obvious reasons, not even the glued aluminum chassis can take any more downforce.

These are the 4 that are (mostly) finished, there are a few more that are still in the pipeline, and all cars shown will have more trims added later. Also, if you look (relatively) closely, you'll see that I actually reuse many designs from cars in other ones, even if the cars are as different as can be. For example, I use the same rims in almost every car, and the same grill is on the last 2 cars, the same fuel cap on all of them iirc too.

assuming the exporter will be available for the lite campaign game mode here is a vehicle i have created:
made from 1985 to 1990 it is the muscleworks mw-01. basically an attempt in the 1980s to recapture the glory days of muscle cars from the 1960s. the engine is a 451 hp 6 liter v8 paired with a 5 speed manual and a top speed of 185 mph. it sold moderately well. it was widely seen as while not the best looking 1980's cars definitely one of the best performing. also i might shorten the rear end

All cars you make in career mode are available in the sandbox mode as well, that's how I ended up deleting my car above trying to remove the link to career and keep the sandbox but you delete one the other disappears

Another wagon. Here is the Avanta Sabre. The Sabre was only sold to the people across the pond, and only ~2,000 units have been exported to different places. The Sabre sold extremely well in the UK, Japan, Korea, France, Germany, and Russia.

Next is the Avanta Super Z4. The Super Z4 (pictured below) was a special variant of the regular Z4, this version being powered by a tuned V6 and appearing with special rims, side vents, a front bumper lip, custom lighting and custom badges. This sedan also came in a coupe variant but only with the Super Z4 trim and different customization options. The Super Z4 Coupe was a rare tuner and only 650 units were made.

Finally is the Avanta President. Avanta wanted more luxury to offer to their valued customers, so they came up with this. The President came in 5 different variants. Wagon (pictured below), 5-door hatch, 3-door hatch, coupe, and convertible (I'm sure there was a sedan variant but I'd have to look back again). The President came with a luxury interior and entertainment system, chrome trim, extra lighting, cornering lights, lots of room and storage space, and special rims also used on another vehicle Avanta made. Each variant of the President sold extremely well all over the world, making it the most common, affordable, luxury vehicle on the market.

(As the CEO of Avanta, Hiyaku and FMC (Falcon Motors Corp.), I'd like to do a collaboration or two. Hit me up.)

1978 Bridgell Kengha: The single worst car on automationverse. It was hard to find customers for it, but surprisingly it got more than 120 points on Budget Family in Archana!

MV Design Kerberus Coupé: Some of our clients wanted to enjoy the sportivity of the Kerberus on a more personal package, so a coupe version was due. A huge thermotinted glass hoof and revised front auxiliary lights are included.

Bruckell Moonhawk UTE. It can't be more aussie than this, M8. In fact, that's a completely new monocoque, the cabin had to be moved foward to allow a usable cargo space, and to be proportionally correct.

Fun fact, I was reading about the ford barra engines at wikipedia for replicating it in Automation, and came across this paragraph. Thats what I call project recycling!

"All Barra I6 engines are DOHC with VCT.[2] They are a development of the SOHC I6s produced between 1988 and 2002, which in turn are a development of the 3.3 and 4.1 L push-rod flat-tappet I6, developed in Australia as an "Alloy Head" Crossflow in 1981, eventually in both carburetted and injected versions, which itself was developed from the original iron-head cross flow engine from 1976, and which in turn was developed, again in Australia, from the original non-cross flow family of light Ford sixes which originated in North America as the "Thriftpower Six" designed for the original American Ford Falcon compact of 1959, initially in just a 144 cubic inch (2.4 L) displacement."

I wish I had the skill to make interiors for some of these cars. The 908-hp trackday special I posted yesterday I think would be a good candidate for a futuristic interior with the driver's seat in the center (passenger seats optional) similar to the McLaren F1.

@Godzilla! Nice job with the lights on those WM cars!

You don't necessarily need jbeam for interior, you can use nodes of body to handle deformation. It might get bit spiky and jelly, but certainly be better than no interior and with very simple jbeam deformation of interior can be improved as you need only few nodes near seats which to bind seat mesh to etc.

Textures are difficult part though, I like to use solid colors as it looks better than my attempts with textures :(

    Sorry for LOTS of images.

First car is based on the Aussie ford Falcon ( fairmont ) XC ( thaal Smoothmont ) She has a 351 v8. The orange one is the base Model with 6 seats and 4.1 inline 6.

next is thaal LTD ( after a Ford ) Se has a massive 7.0 v8!! Tuned for smoothness.

Next is a Ford falcon XE ( real image with it to ) ( i will change name to Thaal Eagle XE )

Last is the Thaal Bexter. it's a Aussie small car ( Like Ford escort Datsun 120y Size ) they still make them ( Be it meany Generations later ) They even in 2019 are RWD. Aussies small car.. The AB series ( 1974-1983 ) Was prone to rust. and VERY VERY basic and bumpy. But it was awesome in the outback..

P.S Thaal name is based on Ghaal From Gorgoroth and Wardruna.

    1979 Volkswagen T3

The 1979 70PS variant engine and body settings was nearly completely recreated using a book i have at home.
The book contain very detailed informations and diagrams of a lot VW Transporter generations.
Due to the huge limits of Automation, i just only nearly was able to hit the real engine power. Its a little difference, about 1% of underpowered and overpowered stuff.

Its not my plan to keep the Automation body shape. But it will be at first. This great update is very useful to build a ground for a big mod. Basically the engine.

No time to take actual pictures, but here's some of the latest WIPs, with very original (AKA WIP) names-

    Corvetta
    upload_2018-7-12_21-13-32.png

Corolla (w/ all 6 trims, SE model shown)
    upload_2018-7-12_21-14-45.png

Sadly, I could not recover the Fenice or any of the 7 variants, and that so happened to be my favorite car that I took the most time on :'(
