The Ford Edge and Lincoln MKX still exist but the design of the Ford edge and Lincoln MKX is what i missed old 2006-2010 2006-2014 new
Subaru XT, Imagine a modernized version with the Brz engine and a turbo on it. (It came in a turbo version)
Cheap reliable Ford, 'nuff said. Only thing is that since Ford America is no longer focused on sedans, coupes, estates, etc., it's likely gonna be sold in Europe if it ever comes back (though it's unlikely though).
at least ford is trying to stay true to the bronco. it will be a 2 door SUV and it WILL be a jeep competitor
(BUMP) GMC Syclone/Typhoon. They probably only produced them for two years because it was meant to be a one-time sort of thing, considering it would be pretty absurd to continue it.
RWD Opels. To my mind, there was no any real reason why Opel dropped their RWD-lineup back in 2004, when they stopped making Omega, while it was still selling well and their RWD-lineup always had plenty of customers and long heritage/history.
I'm more disappointed that Omega V8 never made it into production. It would be a true Euro muscle car.
The Toyota Celica, especially back in the 70's and early 80's, when they where rear wheel drive. The Ford Sierra Cosworth. Had one for my first car, i'll always regret selling that one... The Ford Taunus. Old school European style Ford, with a V4 engine, i just love the way it looks and sounds. Also, Nissan's S-platform cars...preferably all of them, but the 13 through to 15 most of all. And the AE86...because AE86...
they even made some for there factory and they still work it really is a shame that it hasnt made production
Omega V8 was so close of being put to production, but they couldn't get the overheating issues figured out before the launch, so either GM or Opel head management pulled the plug.
It might come back, but probably as a SUV (because Ford of America is shifting away from sedans and coupes). But I'm not against the idea, but it may have to comply to that transition.
Why makes you think so? Ford has enough SUV nameplates. Personally, I think the CV nameplate is dead for good - and that may be a good thing.
The Maverick nameplate. Originally was a 70s compact car, but then was used 3 times as a SUV name in different markets. Plus, the fact that it's copyrighted now does mean it will be used as a upcoming SUV name. But I also can agree the nameplate is probably dead, as we never heard anything about the nameplate since it ended production.
