    For now in-game subscription are not linked to forum watch.
    It may or may not be added in the future.

    An subscription in your browser with an auto-watch for a resource could be an possible additon to the forum features.

    The game doesn't know your forum account + pw, as there is no linkage between the forum and the game. Only the Content Delivery Network (CDN) for the mods is implemented.
