    Hey guys,
Hope everyone's having a great weekend. The reason for this post is that I recently downloaded a mod from the worldofmods website and I'm currently having some issues with it (I know many guys aren't huge fans of that site on here but I could really use the help). I don't believe the issues are related to the mod being from that website but rather from the way it was packed from the original creator. The following text summarizes the steps I've followed thus far to solve this issue, but it hasn't been a very successful process.

Mod Folder Order (after reorganizing from worldofmods folder):

    'nissan gtr r35' zipped > audio > art > sound > blends
    > engine > forza > B6
    > I6
    > vehicles > common > wheels
    > gtr > (this includes all the mods files)

My first step after doing the above was to place the following into the mods folder under the BeamNG drive directory in the main documents folder on my computer. The 'audio' folder was left out during this process.

'nissan gtr r35' zipped > vehicles > common > wheels
    > gtr > (this includes all the mods files)

I then started the game and the mod worked just fine but it didn't produce any engine sounds. My next step involved taking the 'art' folder from the 'audio' folder and placing it into the 'gtr' folder as shown in the folder order above while the overall mod folder remained in the main mods folder of the BeamNG drive directory. This attempt also failed and the car had no engine sounds.

My final attempt involved the following:

In a separate BeamNG drive directory, located under the SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\ folder order, I went to the 'audio.zip' folder located in the content folder of the BeamNG drive directory. Within that folder I clicked on the 'art' folder, and then the 'sound' folder located within the 'art' folder. In this folder, I transferred the 'blends' folder from the mod (see above) and transferred the 'forza' folder (see above) into an 'engine' folder already located within the 'art' folder.

After this final attempt, I started BeamNG and noticed that the engine sound had returned for the gtr mod, however, the engine sounds of many other mods (i couldn't check everyone of them) had disappeared. This is the point that I'm at right now and would really appreciate any help from the members of this forum. Please let me know of any questions you may have. The folder order seems a bit messy but when you see a folder below another, it means that those two are subfolders of the folder to the left. For example:

'audio' and 'vehicles' folders are subfolders of the 'nissan gtr r35' zipped folder. Just clarifying for those that may not be as familiar with the order of the folders within mods.

Main reason: it's from world of mods. What did you expect?

In case any of you aren't sure what I'm asking about, my question basically is: where am I supposed to place the 'audio' subfolder from the main mod folder?

I'm just trying to figure out if there's any way of solving it.

In any case, you should never put you mods somewhere else than documents / BeamNG.drive / mods folder !!

The audio folder work if it's placed on the mods folder too :) , but I really don't get why they give mods not working by a simple drag and drop on this website

Thanks for getting back to me, so do you recommend I place the 'audio' folder within the main folder of the mod and then place it within the Documents/BeamNGdrive/mods folder?

And yeah it's a weird site so lets just leave it at that haha... I tend to download cars from there that aren't accessible on this website and more often than not, they've worked properly....
