BeamNG remains on screen after closing

Got this weird issue now, where everything is working just fine until I go to close the game. On the main menu I click on Exit and you can tell something is happening but nothing actually does. The menu screen itself freezes to the screen. If I right click I get the context menu on Windows 10. I can move my mouse to the bottom of the screen and see different tool-tips from Windows, but I can't actually see the icons or anything. Running Task Manager it shows that BeamNG is not running at all anymore. The only way I can get rid of the Main Menu is to just restart the PC. I can't Alt-Tab to other programs, because the menu screen acts like a screen overlay. Not sure what else to do?

 

have you tried ctrl-alt-esc? if not try it. another thing you can do is navegate your mouse to the taskbar and close it manualy. i have never used the exit button on the main menu so i have not experienced this problem. give my tips a try, miht help, might not help.

 

OK I'll give that a try. So, don't even go to the menu, and just ctrl-alt-esc. Or maybe even Alt-F4. It's just such a weird issue.

 

well what i do to close the game(i dont have it on full screen cuz im in the middle of making a mod) i just press the X on the top of the page or if i am in fill screen, yes, i press ctrl-alt-esc. it minimizes the window then you can navigate the mouse to the taskbar and close the game.

 

so like if you have webroot, it classifys alot of games as a virus
