This is looking great! I have one recommendation though. Please don't add way to many parts because the offroad van (which has many parts) lags on my pc. I don't have a shitty pc either. I mean don't go too crazy.
I 100% agree tbh, I don't wanna sound like a nuisance or anything, but hopefully it won't be as poorly optimized as the off-road H-series which lags on my PC, my PC is not the greatest but not the worst either but it can run BeamNG fine most of the time.
Then i can just stop this mod right now.... im building mods to puch the limit, it is the developers job to build optimized cars. I just seeing how much details i can get away with, i do not have the know how to make mods that look good and run on lowend machines sorry.
Yeah dude its alright they will have to stand the lag cause small details are just amazing and makes a car so much cooler, btw you're model looks pretty good and how did you do these amazing looking textures!? They looks better than the dev ones. Really looking forward to this mod.
Get your reading glasses folks, it's time for another Book From The Bob™ Okay, it won't be (as big of) a book this time, but lots of stuff is getting done. I've already scripted in 120+ new concrete, brick, asphalt and door/window textures (250MB worth!). Remember, this is a whole city, now. I have procured lots of public domain textures, and also, bush and other misc plant models, that are not in yet that I must script up the textures for. Credit will be given to the artists, however (nothing you see here except for about 3 of the textures is used yet). This way, all the buildings don't look like they're made with the same stuff, except when and where buildings are used more than once. The convenience store picture in one of the first shots will be a gas station. I don't have the gas islands/canopy done quite yet, though it should be done within the next few days as I need it. Got lots of use out of the two sets of privacy walls, and added in the ECA trees. Not all places in this city will have this many trees, though, mostly for performance reasons. Don't expect to run this at max settings with max reflections above 30fps unless you've got a Radeon Vega or Nvidia GTX 1070 or above! That being said, graphic card prices are dropping, and new cards will be out within the next 3~8 months, likely from both teams, so that and used mining card inventory should help normalize things. Shutting reflections off doubles the FPS here, setting them to minimum increase FPS notably. RAM use is around 3GB or a little over. This is good, much better than Roane County's 6gb+ just to load up, in fact. Will try to keep a hold of this figure better than the last time around. VRAM use is considerably under 2GB currently (Afterburner is tell me 156mb... it's likely very wrong!). --That is all!
