west coast is extremly laggy

I deleted all mods I deleted the game and reloaded it still is very laggy

It's a well known problem with West Coast, you can't do anything about it

 

It even happens to me and I have a decent gaming rig. Maybe one day somebody will give a s**t enough to make one....

 

I got very very slight drops on it but still decent fps. On a GTX 1060 6GB. It's just a computer heavy map with a lot of detail, that's all.

 

Sorry to be off topic but your pc looks like it has a weak link with that power supply, most likely what is limiting your cpu OC seeing as you have water cooling.

Back on topic, was there ever a time WCUSA was not 'laggy' for you? More specs/details about the lag are better than less.

 

I think everyone experiences drops in FPS on West Coast, whether it is a major drop or minor drop. Even I do sometimes, running on a GTX 1080 TI Aorus Xtreme, which is a very good graphics card. I am sure the devs are aware of this and will fix it soon.

 

I get lower fps on WCUSA too, probably the lowest out of any map. Running a GTX660.

That's basically the whole story

 

I don't think it's because the of size of the map. My computer can run the map fast enough that it's playable, but sometimes I get a huge performance drop. Usually I can start playing with about 30 fps but after a while the framerate drops by nearly a half. Sometimes the performance drop happens in less than a minute, but sometimes the framerate stays high much longer.

Usually the performance drop occurs when I switch vehicle or respawn it. Attached picture shows the bug.

For me atleast performance in WCUSA is kind of weird. I have two computers, my desktop, which has a 960 and an i7 2600. It struggles to run WCUSA so much, its unplayable, while other maps run at 60fps almost all the time. (Only one car, with reflections on low)
Meanwhile, for my laptop, which has a 970m and an i7 4710, WCUSA runs perfectly fine (Between 40 and 50fps). Same car, same settings.
The odd part is that the 970m and the 960 are about equal in terms of power, and the 2600 is about 10-20% slower than the 4710. So, what the hell. The drop massive and it makes no sense at all.
