Hi. I came up with a little idea while playing Traffic Panic (no advertising here), which is a little red/green light game for iOs/Android. Simple. A video of it at the end of the post. So basically I thought you could have 2 paths (when they are implemented), one ending at the traffic lights, the other one going to the end of the map. The paths would be changed/controlled by a button, and the vehicles would despawn at the end of the map, and respawn/teleport to the beginning. The cars from the left to the right would just drive all the time. Maybe there would be a wrecking ball swinging through (without Miley Cyrus on it) when the cars crashed. It would be pretty CPU intensive, but the map would be pretty small, since the camera would be from the top. This would be a seperate map, and you could describe it as a minigame, I guess? After the crash, you could have a replay mode with different camera angles (inside car, different cars, free camera), slow motion and freezing physics (J button). Just a little idea I came up with. I am not going to make it, since I am not a codemonkey or a artist, but I could help out with something. Also nice if the devs could read this . Video Link: P.S. I AM DYING FOR THE FRICKIN' UPDATE!!! Give me the update... *slowly dies* I originally posted this in Questions and Support, could someone remove it there? Sorry...
Interesting indeed. Cool idea, but it might be a little too much for low-spec computers. Could make a nice mini-game in the future.
Great idea! Ok, so what low end computers can't run it? That shouldn't prevent those who are capable of running the minigame from being able to play.. Being considerate is nice. Yeah, I got that. But if someone is considering starting a project that might be cpu intensive, the fact that some may have a low end computer shouldn't stop them from following through with there idea.
