Just a suggestion but, next time when you guys do a video, can you use a steering wheel like g27, i think gabester has a g27. Oh well just a suggestion.
Well i my self have a g27 and after 10 seconds of seeing how the steering and everyting works, i can say if the controls are good or bad in my opinion.
Yes, this is what I get if I just post ''yes'': Try saying just ''no'' without quoting anyone, you'll see.
OH, you meant that kind of character limit, LOL, i thought it was the oposite kind of limit, like on twitter, ive never seen the above message, because i usually post with more then 10 chracters, as when i say no, i usually give an explamation.
I would like a new video too! I have a G27 myself and I agree with you, let's see how a wheel works in BeamNG
Lol I've been trying to buy a G27 too but it seems they're not selling it anymore or something because I can't find it anywhere.
... you didnt really look that hard then: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826104330
I don't really want to find out how a steering wheel works, it just works, if there is support for a controller and steering wheel will work exactly the same but you just turn the wheel. Still, if devs wants to make the video, they will.
I have Logitech Driving Force GT, bought it for 75-80 dollars on discount in 2010. Now it's about 200 dollars in my country. I think G25 or G27 are unnecessarily expensive. Paying 3-4 times more for a clutch pedal is pointless. Also G25/27 don't have tons of hotkeys on the wheel as the GT.
In which aspect ? My Df-GT is also have 900 degrees wheel rotation. It has a lot of hotkeys on the wheel, I'm playing ETS2 with it, i never have to use keyboard, I assigned all of commonly used functions on the wheel. it's awsome. I know the astounding quality of expensive products, I bought Go-pro helmet cam (which is the most expensive action cam) in last december and it's quick-release buckle broken last week while i carefully removing it from the mount, it's broken without an accident. It can be replaced with a new one but ofcourse it costs money. I mean, buying something expensive doesn't mean it has higher quality.
Uh, that's not what I'm saying at all... I'm saying it is higher quality, regardless of price. I respect that you like your Driving Force GT, I still use my old Driving Force Pro for every racing sim I own. But I tried a friend's G27 over at his house in the last couple of months and the feel, fit and finish, and overall build quality blitzed the DFs, and I would buy one in a heartbeat if I had the cash.
I would love to have either the G25 or G27, but they are really expensive and just the steering wheel won't make me feel like I'm in the game anymore, therefore I wouldn't buy it, yet I still love them. I would've gotten a Driving force gt but there is no clutch pedal, I like my clutch. Never seen a G25 or G27 irl but they do look really nice.
