How on earth is an extra clutch pedal pointless? Plus the extra quality you get from those wheels compared to a Force GT is well spent money. Also, you've got plenty of buttons on the gear-shifter. Just the force feedback motors alone is worth the money. They're fast, responsive and they're built to last. My F-GT broke in like 2 months with my driving when I used it for Live for Speed. And with the G25 I got my times in that game down a second or two just because of the better feedback.
I want a G27 so bad. I'm in love with my thrustmaster wheel that is pretty bad. It has like, 180 degree rotation, no clutch pedal, paddle shifters, no force feedback. It sucks, but it was only $49, so I'm not too unimpressed.
I feel like buying a used G25/27. They sell for less than half the price of a new one and it doesn't look like they are faulty or something. To stay on topic, you can bet there will be proper steering wheel support, what kind of vehicle simulation would it be otherwise?
