Not bad at all! I miss some hard basses, but i guess thats a personal preference and so obviously up to you to decide. Keep on making music, if that was your first track, im sure you can achieve great sounds! To offer some constructive criticism, the employment of the singe samples sound a little box like... i have no real knowledge about making music so it is hard to describe for me. I used to play around with E-jay when i was young and i know it is/was no real tool to make music, but maybe i can explain what i mean by refering to it. In E-jay you had to place samples from a library to the timeline and you had multiple audio channels to place them. The way how some of the.. synth effects i think.. are kicking in sounds rather abrupt and as those samples would not have a very well blending beginning. That way i get the impression to hear when a new samples block in the timeline starts, even when i dont know how you created this. That is just the feeling it creates. Maybe try to mix/blend the start of strong sounds that build a contrast to the background with something introducing, or blending. Not that it should affect realy what you hear, but how you hear it. Much confuse, i know, and then again, i have no idea how you make music. But i love to listen to electric music and berlin has quite good stuff.
i have made everything except the sounds... i use flstudio, not my first one, but not too far, i started trying to make music 3 mounths ago...
Looks overhelming complex. Would love to learn it but have no time beside learning 3d modeling and such. Why do we have to sleep?! Gotta learn polyphasic sleep i guess, "uberman" pattern ftw! Maybe you can resynth some of the samples with it or have some blending effects between them and/or silence. I would wonder if not.
Sounds nice! It's been a while since I've been able to make anything (over 3 1/2 years now)...I had a long adventure moving from florida to belize...then to washington....and soon to be back to florida, lol...all that to say....ALL of my equipment was left behind when I left belize, my old rig, keyboard, stereo system, tv, monitor....everything...the only thing I retrieved was my ps3 +games and my old rig's harddrives (thankfully!) I only recently built my newest rig just this past november, so I have yet to replace my keyboard, but I so desperately want to get back into making music, I miss it so much, and there's really nothing else out there (that I've heard yet) that sounds like my stuff...for better or worse. I would make a soundcloud....except none of my ableton stuff is finished, I only have like 1 track that I made with acid 2.0 that I guess can be called "finished".....but it's not really original since it's a just bunch of pre-recorded loops chopped and blended into a track >.>
