No, FR is not obsolete to the enthusiat. It has a inherent balance and stability unmatched by other layouts. BMWs are supposed to be drivers’ cars for people who also want luxury, and using front wheel drive is not the way to fulfill that. If you want something practical, go buy a some boring diesel hatchback and be happy of how much you can carry while being able to park in city parking spaces, while totally (possibly conveniently) forgetting that you actually enjoy driving whatsoever. Rear or all wheel drive is the only way to acheive a fun drivers car with more than 150hp.
@Fenneko A Nissan kicks or Toyota C-HR is subcompact. The X1, along with the Lexus NX and Nissan Rogue is a compact crossover. I couldn’t find it on the website, sorry. Just going along with the general class guidelines. @Ytrewq If you enjoy working on cars, Audis are not the way to go. Look at Service Carrier Position on them, which involves lowering the subframe to do simple tasks. If you are desiring a luxury vehicle that has a good track record reliability wise (even if it is a pain to fix when it does break) then an audi is the way to go. If you want something for driving alone that has some luxury to it, a BMW is the way to go. Both have tailgating businessmen as owners, so I guess in that way they are the same.
First generation Ford Monedo. (You Americans may recognize this car under the name of Ford Contour and/or Mercury Mystique) I don't know why I like it, it just reminds me of my childhood...
Definitely the Nissan Cefiro. if you want a RWD RB26 powered car, just engine swap a silvia or drivetrain swap a GTR, but this is just my opinion.
Glad to see someone that thinks the Veyron is hedious (I mean hedious but crazy fast, well there are some supras and gt-rs that surpass him... but gotta love the W16) And TESLAS man i just hate them, they look and sound wrong (The roadster is the exception for the looks), i think if gasoline and diesel runs out, we will have ethanol, but i think most of the people that think teslas are the best cars, just don´t like cars, its the kind of people that would trade a 205 t16 for a fiat multipla
Oh... Sorry everyone, that was a little mistake. OT: the Lamborghini Aventador. Really, I hate most super cars, but this one particularly.
I hate supercars, modern cars unless they are small cars like Ford Fiesta and Volkswagen Up, Electric cars, and BMW:s.
