even more WIP. For some reason the jbeam wont save in NBeditor so for now the wheels are stuck there and it crashes weirdly
No, its going to stay FWD, it has 2 doors and will be like the prelude is to he Accord so most configurations will be a bit more sport suitable and faster
got an update to the Dansworth mod coming, unfortunately I forgot about the propane for the gasoline bus, but the transmission has had a lot of TLC and is really slick at shifting. It doesn't lock up until 6th gear though, but that's just how to get the smoothness really It shifts quite early if you feather the throttle, but if you do punch it, the transmission is a bit racy and hangs onto gears quite a bit. Don't think there's a way to adjust this, which is a shame.
If you don't want it to split to half, then you need to set some beams unbreakable with flt_max, if you want it to split to half and not get those stretched things, then you need to set break groups so that you don't have pieces on both halves of the car.
There was a 98 Pessima coupe mod, but that was part of the Variety Mod, which is unfortunately no longer supported.
Not necessarily needed, if you set break groups and then make mesh breakable like bus has, it makes some holes and jagged edges when beam is broken. Front subframe of Moonhawk (or was it Barstow?) is also good to check out for break groups. Separating mesh could work too, but then you would have always same kind of split. I believe it is all in jbeam that allows you to do such.
You don't have much node groups in there and almost all your beams and nodes are same weight. Now each node affects all of those flexbodies. If you look official cars they have small group of nodes affecting one bodypart. For example mirror should be affected only nodes related to mirror, that is nodes near the mirror, you make those to be mirror group and so on.
This has been done before, but I think it can be done better. Almost 1 hour of work so far (because I'm slow). Somehow ended up with that even I should of done completely something else
Dude, I literally have made that exact same car before and from what I see it has the same problems mine had XD
