Hello all you good people how are we doing? So I've already begun the Australian slang competition, but I knew for a fact that -

    1. Not everyone on this group is Aussie and is capable of translating our strange language.

    2. This is a forum for a car game, so there had to be something car themed, but as Aussie as your favourite pair of pluggers.

So that is why being the burnout loving Australian I am, I have created a competition based on the real life Australian Burnout Masters Comp. Basically how it works is you build ANY car you want, do a burnout in it on the game, take a screenshot, and post it here with the specs for the car. The winner is determined by the amount of smoke produced (a video may even be preferred), and after each monthly round will receive some sort of prize, which I don't know yet, but lets not got bogged down with prizes shall we? The other bonus is that non-Aussies can participate in this too.

I have built proper skid cars for Beam before, as some of you may of seen on Community Screenshots, but I'm about to build a new one that car go harder than any other burnout car before. Some of you might know what it is...

There are a few rules however. The first four are specs. You can use pretty much any car you want, as long as it makes a good amount of smoke. You can also use any mod or part you like, there are no rules. But if you want to build a proper burnout car -

    1. You can't just put a turbo on the car and do a small burnout and call it a day. This competition takes a lot of effort, meaning you have to build a proper burnout car like this one

I know this looks insane, but it doesn't have to look exactly like this. The engine can be anything from a tiny four cylindrr to a V8, but a blown V8 similar to what’s on the car above is recommended. If someone could model an engine that looks like this for Barstows and other cars, that would be mad.

Putting on narrow rear wheels (usually 14-15 inch by 8 or nine inch wheels with thin tyres recommended) and making the rear wheel base as narrow as possible like below doesn't just look insane, but helps the car spin, or "tip in" (urge you to look this up if you wanna make a video for maximum effect) easier. Excuse the fire but this is what a real burnout would look like. Too bad fire and popping the wheels isn't available on Beam. (You wouldn't be able to look into that maybe @Nadeox1 @synsol @B25Mitch @gabester ?)

    2. It's gotta look the part. Burnout cars don't just produce good burnouts, but they look good doing it, like Miranda Kerr doing a fashion show ;). Burnout cars usually have a custom paint jobs, custom wheels and a nice interior, because for most of their days, they're cruisers (yes some of these are road legal!), and get let off their chains at events like Summernats. But if you want to, you can take some beater old Barstow and stick a mad engine in it and just send it. It doesn’t have to have a custom paint job, interior or wheels, but if you’re looking to replicate the real thing, those things are advised.

    3. Do the burnout on a skid pan or in an area surrounded by fences, and keep it off the walls! A good burnout car is one with its rear bumper still intact. If you don’t know what a skid pad looks like, just look up Summernats.

    4. Name the car. Yes thats right you have to name the car. That VK Commodore above is called From Hell, as you can see from its numberplate, so doing something similar is required. Famous burnout cars include Lynchy, Kranky and Ulegal.

    5. Have fun doing it. Doing Australian style burnouts is addictive. If symptoms, such as crazy amounts of swearing, coughing up smoke, and acting like a loose bloke persist, seeing a doctor or your local GP is advised.

For anyone who still has questions, here is my other fellow teachers Mr. Haltec and Mr. James showing people how it works and how its done.

So get to work on your mighty beasts. I expect to see plenty of Barstows, Moonhawks and maybe even a RWD Covet.

Happy skidding you crazy loose lot, I'm off to build my toy.

Dude did you read the post? Don’t meant to be rude, but you can build ANYTHING you want. You can use any mods, except mods that increase smoke (although you can’t use coloured smoke mods), any car, any engine, as long as it produces smoke, is RWD and looks the part, whether it’s a shit box like the VN Commodore burnout car Lil Shit or some beautiful looking car like Kranky. Just make it look unique. Simple as that.

I must admit, judging it off the amount of smoke is a bit pointless when the game deliberately caps the amount of smoke particles to a certain point...

I know but we may as well. If not, then we can judge it on the best car and screenshot. Just until the smoke issue is fixed. I really wanna come on here and see what people can make with a bit of creativity. Have you made anything yet? I'm still trying to build mine but I've hit a temporary problem. Yes it's an XB Falcon and yes Firepower will fix it for me (need to make the rear suspension adjustable).

yes it is the drag with a modded engine to get more smoke and it lit on fire halfway through the burnout. on second thoughts the engine should probably not have been waterlogged
