--- Post updated --- They sit about perfect for a brand new xj. the newest suspension from the factory is at least 17 years old so you can imagine that most are pretty saggy. --- Post updated --- loving the mod so far! kicks ass offroad. cant wait for some suspension upgrades and bumpers and maybe sliders!
only issues so far is that the wheel pops off if it gets slightly bound up and driveshaft breaks easily
idk if someone else said this but there is a gavril hopper rebadge mod with whitewall tyres and i love the way it feels like a more luxury, road-orientated hopper so im kinda lowkey hoping someone will make the gavril rebadge just for the wagoneer/woody models (im not a jeep expert oof). im not saying "mAkE iT gAvRiL REEEEEEEEEEE" all im saying is that i think it'd really fit the lore to have an american blackfoot and it'd match up with the hopper to have it more upmarket
I still think it's completely out of place being a rebadge. It's not like this was a Nissan being an Infiniti in the USA, it was a Jeep around the world. I don't really want people making re-badges of this to be any Gavril or Bruckell because it's an all-Ibishu car, and the real car was never mass-produced under a different brand. --- Post updated --- This isn't aimed at you @AnOrangeHellcat , and I'm saying this both politely and seriously: can people stop complaining about it being the wrong brand/not from America? It was supposed to be sold in the line with the Hopper and Old Pessima, and is lore-friendly with official vehicles - not only that, but it uses numerous Ibishu parts.... And with a trim called the 'Dynasty' I don't think that would work as a name for a US-built car, going by its history.
hey this mod is quite nice to be honest but do you think it could be possible for you to add some springs that can give the blackfoot a lift because some of my offroad tire don't fit on this car and i'd love to take it offroad
what about a quick port of the "lifted" suspension components for the D-series and (i think) hopper? (as well as the off road / race customizable suspension of course)
It's literally just changing the precompression and beamspring in the shock/spring jbeams lol I've fixed the steering wheels, and the V6 MPI intake as well, so 1.3 might come soon.
A few things i noticed while messing around with it Using 31s with quick-ratio offroad steering the steering breaks when you turn full-lock Some spiking after I slid sideways into a rock This might be a vanilla game problem, but when braking hard the leaf springs bend upwards. This was hard to get a picture of so hopefully the attached screenshots show what I'm talking about Aside from those issues, this seems to be pretty good so far. I'm looking forward to future updates with more parts
