I don't know if this has been pointed out yet, but the Soliad Wendover is no longer on the official content forum section. Is it possible it was canceled?

 

Here we go again...

A bug with the forums caused very old threads to become completely scrambled. As a result, several old threads were deleted, including the Soliad Wendover thread.

Gabester has confirmed that the Wendover was not cancelled.

This debate has been ongoing for about a year now, and I had hoped the official announcement would have ended that.

 

Information is such in nature that not all has all of it.

 

Some mods could be added to the official content of the game, provided there are some bodywork and lore-friendly engines added. Assetto Corsa added a shelby cobra mod to be part of the full game.

It would be wonderful to see.....

 

nadeox posts screens of mods all the time and has done for ages. The devs just have a bit of fun now and again.

I predict the update will be late october, possibly rolled in with the halloween update/mod.

Well it kinda depends too how much the devs actually got done since the last time they updated anything in the microblogs and all we know right now is what we see in their pictures on devblogs microblogs ect. There may be more they are working on besides the 3 main things we already know about.

 

In development usually lot more is created than used.

Just think about how interesting it would be to get to see BeamNG scrap pile, maybe they some day release such for community to make mods from, you know the saying, other man's scrap is another's threasure

 

That would be cool. It’s been done with mods, but could you imagine dev stuff???

It's a bit late, but I think that new car should have some other name. It isn't really creative to name an Italian car "Nicecar" (Autobello's meaning, plus it's grammatically incorrect). It would be really nice if the devs would read this post and change the new car's name to something other (maybe to some random Italian surname (Abati maybe) or to Motonelli (name I've used on numerous Italian cars in vehicle suggestions).

 

There's 633 pages of content here, and I do not have the time to go through every single one of them to see if this has been said or not but whilst deleting the ghastly bus-stops, I noticed it had a map....It's not an island, so it's definitely not East Coast USA, West Coast USA has no major rivers, so I think this might be a nod at Italy....maybe it's nearing completion?

Thoughts?

That's the east coast USA map, you can see the town in the bottom-right hand side.

Image is quite old so isn't the most up to date version but you can see that the general layout is the same

 

Apparently, "Autobello" is more like "Automotive Beauty".

 

Still, sounds awful for a brand name.
