You can never beat a legendary design though (only design I can think of that matches it's original vehicle is the A118). Z4 is not that old though, and it does look pretty decent as a BMW design.
http://www.okaauto.com/history.htm Daily reminder that some crazy SOB from Nevada is selling EV conversions of Russian Oka minicars, and makes some income on the side by selling Yugo and Fiat X1/9 parts.
Likely, though it's strange that of all vehicles that had to be rarer than a Maybach in the US was a Soviet city car.
A Nissan Frontier with 23 miles on it rolled in at work the other day. It had been driven off of the delivery truck, presumably with 4 miles on it, at the large holding lot where all of our new cars for this area are delivered. It was then promptly driven 19 miles to me to be prepped and then rented out. I had to peel all of the plastic wrapping off of the interior surfaces, and take the floor mats out of a plastic bag and distribute them to their respective areas. I then had to drive it a few miles to deliver it to one of our corporate customers. Put it through its paces enough for the pleasant smell of hot new stuff to be wafting from the engine bay. I don't think the break in period restrictions for that truck are going to be observed.
This could be big https://arstechnica.com/cars/2018/0...omakers-alleging-collusion-on-emissions-tech/ Alegedly, German automakers have been colluding to use older and cheaper emissions technology in order to cut costs. Since if they all use the same older technology, none of them will be disadvantaged by using it. Alegedly VAG, BMW, Mercedes are currently being investigated for it.
I just saw a motherfucking Saab 96. That's definitely beating the Chevette in terms of the rarest cars I've seen (not sure if I can slot it above the 2CV and Spitfire 1500s though).
Try Pontiac Solstice GXP Coupe. Saw one out of 800 made. In Poland, no less. --- Post updated --- Elderly people news - Baltimore man selling grandson's 2005 Silverado for $350 because the grandson "is an idiot" - https://baltimore.craigslist.org/cto/d/selling-grandsons-2wd-2005/6695754362.html
I saw one of these last month (I live I the UK too), it was a green K-Plate --- Post updated --- In the mid-90s my dad owned a J-Plate 1992 Mazda MX-5. I found a picture of the plate and looked it up on the DVLA... It just got back on the road this year. My dad loved that car and needless to say, he was elated that it is still on the road. He sold it in about '96 because he didn't have enough space for the MX-5 and the company car Nissan Primera he had.
I did happen to see a Pontiac Solstice coupe some weeks ago, though I don't think it was the GXP trim.
