DirectX on an Internetless PC. Installating problem

My laptop charger had broke so I can no long play the game on that device. So I have redownloaded it to a flash drive through my Mom's computer, and I am having a problem with DirectX for my PC with no internet connection (my gaming pc which has a broken wifi adapter). Basically it keeps telling me that I am missing files from DirectX. So, I would like to install the DirectX files onto the flashdrive so I can install it onto my PC. Unfortunately, I don't know what is needed or what version of DirectX is needed. Any help would be amazing. Thanks guys!

Edit, ok I figured out the version of directx. I just don't know how to download it and get it onto my internetless PC.

Then transfer the file to your pc and install it there.

 

That doesn't work. I figured out you cannot install directx without being connected to the Internet unless you have a game which has directx on the install disc (I used Battlefield Bad Company 2). DirectX needs the Internet connection to download updates. No way around it.

 

But this is an offline installer. I already used it on various offline systems.

 

weird because I downloaded that version about 5 times and it wouldn't allow me to install it from my flash drive. none the less, I have directX now.

Ok that why the game is everywhere who got the idea of a offline installer with steam now? remove that crap to prevent torrenting
