Test these vs the offroad tires in the game. They are way to grippy. You should be able to slide around on pavement and what not and these will flip you over.

ever tried to do that with real tires offroad tires? guarantee you'll flip unless you're pushing significant horsepower to spin the tires and then you risk braking an axle shaft or driveshaft.

Thats if your on 38s with an 8 inch lift (example), Im more talking about the 34's and smaller, no lift you should atleast be able to slide around a tad bit, not be glued on like a rollercoaster

dude i build these for a living. Ive personally rolled a tacoma on 33s and a 2.5" lift trying to drift it lol. if your offroad mud terrains slide then you have some really crappy tires XD

The sole purpose of an offroad tire is to get traction. now if the surface is wet then sure youll slide more with a mud terrain vs a street tire.

theyre pretty undetaile. nardeli makes some good wheels and tire options if you want tires that slide

I already have his mod. I guess im just so used to how his tires and the tires that came with the game handle
    [edit]
I guess im not completely wrong about them being grippy.

some of the the tires are far to grippy and some are just right, the krawler tire is the most unrealistic grippy tire at the moment, it should be slightly less than the bogger which feels fairly realistic off road in most cases.

the main problem with setting grip is that the tires only have a simple modifier for grip and doesn't differentiate what surface it is on yet, so its impossible to have realistic grip on and offroad.

Look up BFG krawler red lebel stickies. They are a competition tire. That is what these are based off of
    --- Post updated ---
Many off-road tire companies make a competition tire where they leave out the harder compound used to reduce wear that standard tires have. This makes them extremely grippy and it is why they are called stickies. They are not DOT approved for this reason and most people typically trailer their rigs to the trail when they use these. Krawlers are not for the everyday inexperienced wheeler. They are for those who are dedicated to the sport which is why they cost 500 each for just 37s and get up to 800 for 42s. You can't even buy them without being in a competition or through a shop.

I wasn't realy factoring in sticky tires as they are not that common, but a sticky option would be cool.

we typically only have the maxxis trepador stickies available in aus and they can be upto $1000 each for 37s, even my 33" MTR kevlars cost $500 each.

A couple of tires that would be cool to see in game would be the:
Also some more size options like 29, 31, 33 and 35 would be nice so they can fit more cars.

I hope one day beamng will make better tires customization, cause rn I can only multiply the friction but I can't make a different one for dirt and mud. Prob before I make new tire models, I will make a new lua codes to make the tires dirty after going in mud or dirt and also make one for the friction but that will be complicated..., also for the sticky thing I won't do it, I made the tires a lot more better and realistic so all of krawlers tires will be sticky.
