Hi, Is it possible to change the directory that mods get installed in? I have about 30 GB of mods and am running out of HD space, so I wanted to move them to another drive and use a shortcut to link to the new location. What I did was create a shortcut named "mods" in the BeamNG.drive directory, with the actual mods stored on the D: drive. I restarted BeamNG but it did not seem to work because none of the mods showed up on the screen. Has anyone been able to change the mod directory or is My Documents/BeamNG.drive/mods hardcoded into the game? Thanks!
Thanks! I used the link you provide to create a hard symbolic link to the preferred directory. Worked great! I actually used to do this all the time using SunOS (Unix) back in '94. I guess I'm out of practice.
