slysenko updated Articulated Frame component for Bus with a new update entry: Tri-Articulated Frame Read the rest of this update entry...
I am subscribed but it won't show up in the game, i have cleared my cache but still won't work. Anyone got any ideas?
I have same problem. Cleared cache. Resubscribed to mod but it still doesn't work. When i load up custom config it loads with normall frame and there is no other frame choices
Okay, so I'm going to install BeamNG on other PC and download this mod in an attempt to reproduce the missing texture issue --- Post updated --- The issue with lost texture was reproduced on clean install and therefore fixed in update 0.1.3.5
The issue with lost texture was reproduced on clean install and therefore fixed in update In contrast to the issue with lost textures, that one with total missing of articulation is a mystery for me. Could you please list the other bus-related mods you have?
For me: Djopplers mega pack 3-axle bus and of course your mod. However how these mods would interfere is beyond me.
I love this mod, but I think that the segments are too long. For what I see here on my city, segments only have one window before the doors. Also the electric transmision sounds soo good for overpowered madness oh great scott! Here is an example:
it’s something to do with the “empty.cdae” file located in the “vehicles/common.zip” location in the games’ files. I removed it and it only fixed the problem until I cleared the cache the next day. I'm starting to wonder if it’s a bug of not since it’s effecting more than one mod.
Yeah I don't get anything, no configurations, no options besides the default bus options...tried clearing cache/reinstall and everything, it's really strange.
slysenko updated Articulated Frame component for Bus with a new update entry: Hotfix for Tri-Articulated Frame Read the rest of this update entry... --- Post updated --- The length of sections is so long just because each following axle is exactly 10 meters away. That was purely a hack to have ability to change all these coordinates evenly by 10 meters, not like +7 or +9 meters. Otherwise it would be so much more fiddling with jbeam data.
Oh, I see, no problem then. Maybe when the articulated sections are their own vehicle it would be easier.
Well, it's really about making a copy of mods, because on the jbeam level, there are just 3 copies of same drivetrain for Articulated, Bi-articulated and Tri-Articulated variants. Almos nothing shared (exept turbo definitions, because in Bus turbo don't have assosiated meshes) I'm more interested in making an Electric Drivetrain, where single engine in back drives a big generator, and then electricity passed to one, two or three rear axles, with ability to configure power distribution between them. Another point is mods compatibility. That's something I've ignored until now, but it is the first point in my plan currently - to install all other bus-related mods and make sure that there is no compatibility issues. I want to add a possibility to hook several buses together and try to make it somehow driveable.
