On Hold Ibishu Blackfoot ('84-'96 Jeep Cherokee) 1.1

Forgive me if this is stupid and/or has been already mentioned, but I was curios why the locking and limited slip differentials available for the front axles are of a different ratio than the ones available for the rear axle, if that makes sense. Regardless, however, awesome mod!

 

I just want a lift already even if temporary between updates I'm sure someone's done it

 

If you read far or close enough, you'd know that suspension is coming in v1.2
Have just a little patience. You'll need it for V2.

This isn't just my car. Other cars, especially 4x4s, have this too - lower ratios mean they can crawl slower and use more torque while doing so. You can equip different sets of differentials for lower or higher ratios, and they will only work right if they both have the same ratio.

 

Please don't winge about this car going on hold. It's on hold beause I'm waiting for official reference drawings, as there are none around that I can use - and someone (I can't really specify who/their title) said they would be able to try and find some for me. (yes, it is still with the help of @Capkirk )

In the meantime, another car will be made as a little side-project - and with what I've learnt on this car, it should be much better-made, up to what Blackfoot V2 will be eventually.
It will be another lore-friendly car, but other than that, you'll see what it is when its WIP thread pops up very soon. Though learning from this one, I'll have made some progress on it before posting it

Sorry about all of this, but I'm afraid there's not much I can do. v1.2 may come out soon, but it may not - nothing is outstandingly or fatally wrong with the car as-is, and I'd honestly rather spend my time on something new than something that, frankly, isn't worth fixing.

So for now, this car is on hold until further notice.
PS - Do not use this thread for guessing what the new car is, or bump it (it won't be that old by my next update, hopefully) , or point out problems with the current car - because they're pretty much all found by now.

Just spoiling, but for everyone else that doesn't have a Discord, the car he's making is a Charmand based off the Twingo.

Well this is probably my most favorite SUV in the game so far, My old man worked at lube pro oil place back in the 90's and early 00's in the Midwest, and always changed the oil on the Cherokee's. He said that the 4.0 Inline 6 engines would leak like hell but they never stopped running. He has owned multiple jeeps and will probably never stop owning jeeps. So hopefully @atomspeed123 can get these blueprints quickly and making the Blackfoot even better because I would like to see more features added onto this mod.

 

keep getting this, no matter what version of the car i try to spawn. Any way of fixing?
