Here I come, rougher than the rest of them, the best of them, available with leather. You can call me Bruckell. Unlike Gavril, I don't chuckle - I'd rather flex my muscles.




Here is the 1963 Bruckell G-86 Starstream 160, the first muscle car in the vmlinuz-verse. The 160 at the end is not an engine displacement or horsepower rating - it is the top speed as measured at the Bonneville Salt Flats! About the size of an ETK I-series, featuring a cast-iron 456-ci V8 producing nearly 400 HP, it will do 0-60 in under seven seconds on the right roads.



The driving experience is best described as frightening. The Starstream's steering is hypersensitive and will try to kill you at every opportunity it gets. The brakes struggle to bring it to a halt - I suspect they're made of cheese. But, as the CEO of Bruckell said at the time, "Handling is nothing but a cheap substitute for acceleration." He was never the brightest knife in the shed, but considering what slow, """"safe"""" crap we have on the market today, he may have had a point.



The G-86 Starstream was the top-tier model in Bruckell's compact lineup from 1960 to 1965. In 1966, the G-86 Moonhawk was introduced and the Starstream became the second most expensive model.
