Thank you very much. I put some real effort into it so it's always appreciable to read. Also for now cars are too solid because of an instruction i used in the jbeam to make them deform better, and which stopped to work in the last update of the game. I found the issue so it will be fixed for the next release, cars won't be that stiff, especially in small low speed crashes
Some tiny news about the update progress : Simplification of the bodies jbeams. Before what we had was two different body jbeams, one for regular roof and one for vinyl roof. Every time i (or we) had to change something in one body, the change had to be replicated on the other. Also, body selection was like this "Delta 88 Sedan with Vinyl Roof" : Now, there is only the Delta 88 Sedan body remaining. I've added a new part for the roof selection, with a core slot so that there is no empty slot available. In fact the whole body flexbody is included in this new part. This way you can switch from metal roof to vinyl roof easily. And i have juste one body to maintain. To my defense back in september 2016, coreslot where very new or maybe not even included in the game, don't remember
This is an awesome car package!! I have a major problem tho.... All the cars have "No Texture" and yellow in the windows and the roof and tail lights???
because its on the forums not the repo there is no auto update. Just download the new version and put it in the correct folder and overwrite the existing. Make sure to clear cache
Thank you all for maintaining the topic and help for issues I think i should add some screenshots in first post with the broken glass texture to explain that the repository version was not downloaded if it occurs
What do you mean?? The mod I downloaded was over 400 MB and I cleared the cache, there is still only yellow with no texture!!??
The file size has nothing to do with it, it doesn't change the fact it is still an ADDON. You need to download the actual vehicle first (codename: oldsfullsize) that can be found in the REPO. I linked the mod below if you still have trouble finding it. https://www.beamng.com/resources/codename-oldsfullsize.1417/ Next time actually read the instructions on the original post to save yourself the trouble :/
Is there anymore information on this update, I don't mean to sound Rushy. But wondering if this is still in affect and still being pushed through? I love the idea of old style rims on a Grand marshal I love the old looks and i hope this comes out soon, Great work and keep it up.
Yep it's still in the works. It's near to finished but i'm under water with my freelance job, so you'll need to be patient, as well as for the Delta 88 coupe. I work on it bits by bits. Glad to read that it's expected though
Working on the skin system of the Delta 88 coupé, to make it compatible with sedan skins when doors panels are not delimited, exactly like it was done for the Regency coupe. I will have to modify the skin uvmap of the sedan because of the rear window chrome location, which collides with the larger roof on the coupe. I had the same case with the Regency, not a big deal. Working fine for this kind of skins : But i will have some fun making this one compatible though (color of roof is because the 2nd uvmap is not done properly yet) : And of course police car skins like this can't be compatible, but who cares about a police coupe right ?
Excuse me. I still have the problem with NO TEXTURE. How can I solve the problem? (I still don't understand what ADD-ON is.) --- Post updated --- I don't know where I should put my mod.
Do you have the Codename_oldsfullsize.zip duplicated in your Repo folder ? If yes, maybe one of the version could be older and making the conflict. If not, try to clear cache. Addon means that the american_fullsize file is a pack that contains additionnal content for the main mod, which is the codename_oldsfullsize.zip
