Not to be mean, but why does every great modder have depression? But it's good that your trying to turn things around.
Believe it or not, intelligence often has its downsides. Many people of above average intelligence have serious problems in some other areas.
Question that has been puzzling even great philosophers of ancient Greece. Humanity is still looking answers though, it's been only few thousand years, so no need to hold breath while waiting, answers to these questions are not coming very soon. There is age old saying though, ignorance is a bliss and it truly is, more intelligence and creativity one has, more one sees around him being kind of 'off' which can help with the issue. If in one way one is too much, world appears to be so little and so on. In short I would say that world is just not made for bright people, environment they are in is not really enough for them, many then find modding that allows them to vent some of the extra capacity, but still it is world around one that kinda drags one to depression so easily. It is so easy to then think how lame world is, while in reality despite all the capacity and brightness it is one not quite being able to see all the possibilities. If we would test average IQ of modders, we probably would not find much any below 120 points, equally most probably would also suffer from social issues, modding as general draws certain kind of people, you don't see average person doing modding as most average persons seems to avoid thinking at all cost "it's too hard" is what they say and in general they do better in life than most modders do. Not sure if that helps you to see how it all works, all of that is really far more complex combination of several aspects, but depression and modding go together like a floor and a peanutbuttered slice of toast. There is a lot that could be done, there is a lot that could be studied, but I think that world is not quite there yet, some understanding is perhaps better leave for later, like few hundred years later, maybe then world is ready to take some steps forward.
Why do you have Files with antivirus websites in the description?! i mean what would be the issue to have something like that. Just seems really shady with the situation i am seeing i could be wrong but it is just a weird thing to post when the post is about a car (MOD) and you might need to install these Antivirus file scanners? i don't see how that can make sense am i the only one who thinks this is different. MAYBE I'M WRONG? But *By downloading these files, you agree that you take responsibility for what might happen whit your computer, not me, not beamng drive development company and/or beamng drive publisher company! I scanned the files and they appear to be clean(but you can never be 100% sure) I have a few problems with this statement. It would be your fault because you sent us the link, GAVE IT to us but yeah who ever is dumb enough to click the link it's your fault for clicking it... But also don't say IT NOT MY FAULT NOR BEAMNG DEVELOPMENTS FAULT! OBVIOUSLY they have nothing to do with it... i see a person that is wanting to take over a computer that has saved passwords private information ETC. Please don't click the link. I could be wrong but be my guest and click the links. It seems i only have one issue i am stating but i HAVE MANY ISSUES I WANT TO CALL OUT, But i'm not wasting anymore of my time just don't click the mysterious links.
I'm guessing because anyone could have virus on their computer and not know it, so as far as he knows there is nothing, but its a possibility (especially being eastern European)... Slightly off topic question: Can you still get viruses if you don't unzip the mod file?
I did say there was a mod file i believe but that was not the point and i did not mean to sound aggressive but it seems weird that's all im saying.
My question is why people become modders or have interest in IT? My personal answer is that i were bullied at young age for being different + suffering from birth condition means that i grew up in social isolation(after age 7) which ment that i had to concentrate my time on stuff so i would feel less miserable and the best way to do that is computer games which evolved bit to programming 10 years ago trough roblox LUA and eventually to 3D moddeling in 2012. Its main reason I got into IT. TLDR: If you have shitty life due to society and birth condition that makes your life miserable you enjoy escapism out of it be it IT or computer games/3d modeling. Also I know of many people from my online support groups who are also modders or game developers.
The files are clean but by studying IT you learn about super viruses that are really rare(1 case in 2008?) and me giving links to the mechanical manuals combined with virus scan links is a touch of friendliness so you would feel bit more at ease than compared to downloading any other modders files on this forum if they haven't given antivirus links. + By being Learning/Being in IT you learn to somewhat legally to cover your ass cause in IT there is a saying that is sometimes true: Problem is likely to be the modifier/item between pc monitor and chair. And while doing the project for school reason i wanted to avoid legal trouble by a person claiming something stupid like my mod destroying their pc, this was ment for school run emulation of finding problems that would disqualify me from using this mod as graduation project. If you have issues feel free to use my time to get peace These links to AV results site + disclaimer were put there as something that would allow me to use the project as my graduation project! Like due to intervisors?trying to find problems in my project that would disqualify me from graduation!
