shoot want to do a 90s model let me know i drive one on a daily basis and i can provide pics inside and out
If I had the skills in blender I would do every variant of the 80-96 bronco + parts like engines and off road stuff
well i mean if your up for the challenge i can send pics exterior, interior, engine (351 windsor), under body
I did some more research and found the 3 body styles share almost nothing so Idk if that is happening since I wold have to make new bodywork, interior and engine models for the 87-91 and 92-96 years
Heres a possible tide me over till this mod is done. https://www.beamng.com/resources/d15-bandito.3212/
thanks to @atv_123 this is not dead so here's a progress report on how up to date it is since the original wom version working global wheels working tow hitch more engines/transmissions better textures not working properly but implemented powertrain skins lights removable roof WIP things jbeam overhaul planned things model work more parts 87-91 bronco --- Post updated --- I mostly fixed the rear suspension it no longer inverts and brakes work again but the axle is jello-ish
http://mustangattitude.com/cgi-bin/...d&model=Ford Truck&smod=Bronco&page=1&scan=15 this could be very useful
I am thinking of starting this over, I am not deleting my current build, but I think over the last 2 years it has become a mess due to my lack of skill and mismanagement and has become so unstable I cannot fix it. I think I need to experiment with a clean slate, I will try to transfer changes from old to new however over time some things that once worked no longer work and several parts have been lost, if anyone has files they made changes to please post them so I can do my best to properly compile them.
My current plan is to focus on the 1980 model, since that is what the 3d model is and I plan on doing things in this order. Remove scalenode by calculating values- this should help it remain stable replace engine torquecurve with accurate 351M one from here http://www.automobile-catalog.com/curve/1980/883910/ford_bronco_5_8l_v-8_automatic.html implement NP435 4 speed and C6 3 speed auto working tow hitch implement fire implement global wheels implement powertrain improve jbeam and make roof separate make frame separate( allows for more options such as later years, a vintage monster truck or even a centurion) skin system fix broken glass texture make original wheels global improve 3d model add parts add rest of third gen Possibilities fourth gen(1987-91)(I am adding a replica of my IRL truck if I do this fifth gen(1992-96, fourth gen must come first, requires new frame) pickup cab swap+ flatbed and custom bed
can someone help me port this model, it appears to be the same one since it has the same textures as the current model but it also has many parts that are missing from the current one https://www.gtaall.com/gta-4/cars/23488-ford-bronco-1980.html GTA SA seems to be where the rest of the good parts are police version using same model https://www.gtaall.com/gta-san-andreas/cars/80646-ford-bronco-1982-police.html lifted version using same model https://www.gtaall.com/gta-san-andreas/cars/77836-ford-bronco-1985-lifted.html this way you get a better final product, faster since I don't have to track down more reference images and make everything + they should fit since it appears the same --- Post updated --- I have started by adding a 351M and C6 auto, later tonight or tomorrow I will do scalenode
I have started over completely, because it has not been modded there the new one drives fine, I can upload this version if you would like it --- Post updated --- 1 I plan on doing factory skins after a texture rework, my truck has 4 in lift so I will base it off that 2 my truck is an I6 with a 5 speed, I estimate I get around 16mpg and I have a 32 gallon gas tank
Ok the one i was testing drove like garbage lol the updated version would be much appreciated. Good luck with the mod
1 I plan on doing factory skins after a texture rework, my truck has 4 in lift so I will base it off that 2 my truck is an I6 with a 5 speed, I estamate I gae let me fix a few more things, I have to get the frame fixed and I want to remove the dirty textures I will probably make a proper beater later when skinning is properly implemented
here is how I fell about broncos. my mom has had 3, 2 1978's one brown and black, and other red and white she now drives a 1991 Eddie Bauer. (Actual picture here) and a 1986 Bronco with a 460 and 4 speed, that was blue and white my grand mother has had 4 1978-79's and one 1984. and I have a 79.
I wish mine was that clean but then it would have cost $8k, not $1700 --- Post updated --- I need a better way to smooth the normal maps --- Post updated --- here is a driveable beta for those that want to see some early work, there are no configs yet you have to add license plates yourself atm
