First: Possibly wrong forum? Yes? Sorry if so; this is my first post.

Now, I have two PCs that I game on: a Win7 6G RAM Intel Integrated Graphics (~.5GB) desktop (1.5 TB HDD) that cannot run Dry Rock Island at more than ~10fps and a comparatively beast Win8 (NOT WINDOWS 8.1!) laptop with 12GB RAM and a still shit (~.75GB) Intel Integrated Graphics (I think) (950 GB HDD) that should run BNGD at millions of FPS...but this happens. Yes, I entered the serial correctly and no, there are no funky characters in the install path of update.exe like the FAQ suggests.

HALP! I know what I'm doing (a BIT) 'cause I've already installed it once on that Win7 PC but I'm not sure what's up.

Please ask me things; I may've omitted something.

Did you try running as admin with firewall and antivirus disabled as the FAQ also suggests?

Can always copy the files from the windows 7 machine on a memory stick.

I thought of copying, but I was going to compress it first which was taking 5 hours so I decided not to....

I've been uninstalling this Norton Antivirus/FW which I HATE. I'll see how that works.

EDIT: Ran it as Admin, the window froze for a minute and displayed the same damn errors.

Where's the BeamNG application file? The launcher is there but the actual BeamNG launcher is not such is weird, that is the reason for the error at the bottom. Try to re-install as administrator.

Don't copy the whole game, just the update.exe and BeamNG.drive.x86.exe from the other machine.

Also, see that file called update.exe.old?

Change it to update.exe and run it and see what happens.

something went wrong there. Try allowing update.exe on firewall?
I have windows 8 same like you but I use Nvidia GeForce GT630 (2GB) and I have no problem running the game.

btw, no pc can run beamng at "millions" of fps, heck, even the strongest of pc's have a little trouble just getting 60 fps on some of the more vegetated maps *cough*Dry Rock Island*cough*
