Hey, I was wondering if anyone would be willing or want to try and create a DMC-12 Time Machine from BTTF (Back to the Future) it doesn't need to do anything special other than work as a functioning car.

Unfortunately it doesn't work that way. Everyone here would prefer if people learned to do it themselves.

If I had the skills, I'd definitely give it a shot. I'm just as interested in having a DMC-12 as you are.

Also, I strongly recommend that you ignore this bit from the post above.
If you want your suggestions to go anywhere, that thread mentioned is where suggestions go nowhere and ultimately die. I've seen it time and time again, that thread needs to be done away with. However the logic here is useless threads (Vehicle Suggestions) are kept while useful ones (General Discussion) are locked.

true that. But theres so many suggestions and the only way you'll be able to have the car you want in-game is to actually make it yourself. Sad, but true..

Again, it's better to have them all organized in one thread instead of becoming such a spam-wave of separate threads.

Wouldn't that just cause a huge flood of poorly written threads of people asking for real-life cars?

And with what I've seen, it's a very rare occasion when somebody makes a suggestion and actually finds someone interested in taking it up.

However if I could actually make mods as good as some of the top ones, I'd definitely consider people's suggestions, especially if I was clueless on what to make next.

I'm sorry, but I disagree. Real life landfills are actually more useful than that thread. Only a staff member has the power to change my mind about the Vehicle Suggestions thread, and that could be done by simply proving to me that it's actually being used.

That is unfortunately the trouble of threads that are separate, but the pro they have going for them is that they will actually bat an eye.

Is it really the fault of the thread though? People make threads like that anyway. I guess under the right circumstances, it most certainly could.

Not really. The only thing the moderators will bat an eye is how much threads they are, and not the content of the thread itself.

Making separate threads won't make a difference for how it's used. All it'll do is annoy the other forum users and get the mods suspicious of the overload of those kind of threads.

OMG, thank you, It doesn't matter that its not the time machine, just as long as its a DeLorean or modeled after one!

Arguing between Vehicle Suggestions and normal threads is idiotic.

No matter what, nothing comes out of suggesting any new vehicle. Modders will only make what they want to, and a poorly written post isn't going to win any hearts over.
You might as well let new modders spam a few suggestions in the Vehicle Suggestions thread until they get bored, that way you don't have to deal with 80 percent of threads being:
"hello pls make bugat veron pls thatnks i do'nt nkno how mod! go. pls thank.! ( lol :D :D :D"

You know, since Light Runner mode came out with 0.14, I really hope that if the devs ever do add a car based on the DMC-12 in the future, I really hope it'll have a Powerglow configuration.
