    Love this track, it's so smooth. I found out that if you're going fast enough through the speed track that you can completely jump over and land at the end of the first hill. I Just happened to land it perfectly when I took these pics:cool:. Also, does anyone know how to insert pictures into a post without using them as attachments? I'd like to have them right in with the text instead of at the bottom. Thanks for the track;)

    Dude this is awesome! Is it possible to do a "retro" texture pack where it uses the same flat shaded textures as the original?

    Nice map mike22. Very cool roads, nicely elevated but one little suggestion, could it be possible to smooth the edges, when I get off the road and try to get back my front end just gets destroyed. Your maps are very fun to drive on. Keep up the good work.:)

    that looks great, I for one would like to see it realeased. like you were saying tho, id make it a separate track, some people are all about graphics and don't seem to get the retro thing. anyway id love to blast around that in the DSC toy car;), now only if we could have traffic it would be just about spot on.

    Thanks.. and honestly, I don't make these tracks for anyone but myself ( not intending to be a prick ), so if people want this map to look great, I don't know if I'll get around to doing a 100% job on that. At this point, the most I'll do to make it current looking is what is seen in the alpha version. I could do a lot more than that, but after all, the track is modeled from a game that's 25 years old.

    I just uploaded version 1.0. This track took a lot more time and effort than I thought it would, so any feedback is welcome !

    No need to mention the rough parts of the track mesh. I just noticed it. I'll release a small patch ( like 5 MB ) to fix that for you guys.

    Its hard to give a strait answer to that question, allow me to elaborate. This track was in Hard Drivin, Race Drivin, and Hard Drivin 2: drive harder. and even in the versions where the rest of the game got a graphics update,(see hard drivin on sega Saturn) this track would still be represented with the same simple graphics. however this track was first featured in Hard Drivin, as the only track, so its fair to say that the game this map is based on is Hard Drivin simply because that is where the track originated before being ported into the other games in the series.

    I've gotta hand it to you mike, this is awesome.

    Played this to death in the arcades and always appreciated the level of realism the original game provided and its sequel Race Drivin. Thanks so much for making this. If you do any more revisions to this, would you consider putting the static model of the train in near the finish line and maybe the hidden skid pan area that was to the left of the start? Thanks again.

    Thanks for all the fixes. They really go a long way with making the track even more true to the original. Will you be cascading these fixes over to the version with the original flat shaded textures?

    Thanks.. heh, yea, I'll get around to it sometime. It shouldn't be too much work - just some texture swaps and material editing.

    Here's a video of a good stunt track lap. What I did at the start of the video ensures the timer starts at 0 when selecting a new car. Otherwise, all the time it takes for you to select a car is tallied into the lap. Although, if you break your car during a run and respawn, the timer will always start at 0.

    I used the Bolide FT40 GTS. I don't know why it spawns blue sometimes.




    Here's one more using the manual DSC Pickup.
