I've been looking for a good laptop for $700-800, and I found this. Will this run BeamNG, and if so, what level of graphics?

I should play it yes, but you can't expect great performance from integrated graphics.

It would be impossible to guess how many frames you'll get.

Maybe someone here has the same CPU in a laptop who could tell you. Good luck!

Yeah it'll run. How well idk, but probably not the greatest. If you want a decent laptop for $700, get a lenovo on their massive sales (like cyber monday) you can get a $1400 laptop for half price or more.

Source: My brother bought a $1400 lenovo gaming laptop for around $800 or less

I've ran BeamNG with my toaster of laptop (i5 / 4GB / Integrated Graphics) and yes you can run it, not the best quality but works if you want to iron some clothes.

My laptop only has a 1.8ghz dual core i3 (ivy bridge) with the HD4000, it *does* run. Not amazingly well though. 2.4ghz dual core i7 with the HD4600 graphics should play better than my laptop can at any rate.

How well does the HD4000 perform on DRI? My HD3000 runs "bare" maps fine at normal settings but vomits all over vegetated ones.

My graphics card is about as fast as the HD4000 and it struggles with DRI

Well, my dad has a dual core i5 and a HD 4k in his laptop, and it runs OK on DRI on Lowest~low settings at 1366x768.

Eh, it isn't exactly a slideshow but you can certainly notice it isn't as smooth as other maps. No actual FPS data, I'll have to fire the game up this evening and get some meaningful data...

If you're looking for a laptop for gaming under $1,000 you could try some last-gen used gaming laptops from eBay? Just an idea.

Integrated graphics should do fine on low settings, its the CPU you should think about.

Well, I got it. It runs the grid testing map pretty well with all vehicles at the high end of mid to low settings. I think it should run more vegetated maps decently on low settings.

If it had a good GPU, you would've gotten your money's worth.

Well, it's touchscreen and a decent integrated GPU so I'm happy. It runs my other favorite game pretty well as well.
