About 2 months ago I got a new G27 w/ kit including pedals and gearstick, and as of plugging it in and setting it up I've noticed that the G27 has a feature where it takes electronic control while you're driving, say you're oversteering, the wheel takes control and prevents the car from spinning out.
Well this isn't working properly evident that it's on all of the time.
If you leave the wheel alone it jerks side to side violently and if you drive it you have to fight the wheel to keep the car straight which, often times, is impossible.
May I have some advice on this?

    Thanks.

Yeah, that's how steering works in real life. Turn force feedback off.

That's how it works in real life. The thing you can do to minimise this effect, is to lower the force feedback strength either in BeamNG or the Logitech Profiler (think that was the name)

I doubt steering rocks violently from side to side on a real life car.
Thanks, though I can't find the Force Feedback setting in the BeamNG options.

Options > Controls > Force Feedback

In addition, this guide can be really helpful to set things to your own preferences:

That is not the G27 taking control, it is the natural tendency of tires to produce aligning torque, which creates a force to steer them into the direction they are being pushed. This force is fed through the hub, steering arm, tie rod, then measured at the steering rack, and fed to the G27 ;) . Watch some in car video of somebody drifting and you will see they practically let go of the wheel at times and let the steering do the work.

If you have your settings right it should provide a great experience. Shaking back and forth at rest is an unfortunate tendency that can't really be avoided unless we just turn the natural ffb off (other sims do this at low speed) you can reduce the low speed strength to limit that.

Also, beware that some cars exhibit some really bad torque steer, particularly front wheel drive or awd cars with a lot of horsepower or widened track width. I recommend starting with a rear wheel drive car to dial in the settings.

I've already set my G27 up, it's fine with some cars but with specifics it shakes even more violently.
I'll see what I can do.
