Old mods installing again randomly

    Hello, i dont know why, but when i click subscribe to a mod on the forums, my game opens and the mod is either getting installed twice, or some other mod that i deleted or already have installed shows the instalation progress bar thing like it is installing. I think these random mod instalations are causing lag and slowing down my game and it is quite annoying. :confused:

    How did you delete the mods?
    If you are doing that by deleting the ZIP manually, that's wrong.
    You need to actually tell the game to unsubscribe and remove the mod by pressing the red X in the mod-manager.

    Not doing that will cause the game to think the mod is missing, and will get it back.

    yup if you are still subscribed, when the mod is updated, your game will essentially download the newest version of the mod, thus reinstalling automatically.

    Oh ok! thanks! Also, sometimes when i click subscribe from here, it opens my game and it shows the mod being installed TWICE. I dont click it twice. Is it actually installing it twice? Sorry for the qquestions, but what is "unpacking" a mod?

    Mods should not install twice, unless you installed it manually and also automatically.
    In that case remove the one you installed manually.

    Unpacking mods is a feature for modders to work on their mods. It unzips the mod in a normal folder.
    Do not use this for using mods normally, it will degrade your performance.

    I think the repository is broken, nothing will download for me and when i unsubscribe, they show up at the top of my mods
