Camera and new Gamemode

    So i installed the new update and tried out the new gamemode and noticed, that the camera has no positions .. so you only have one camera angle and you cant change it .... you can only go in freecam and this camera upload_2018-10-30_20-43-5.png

    Looks like your installation is broken or some mod has broken the camera system, the views you get are the defaults when some error has occured.

    As a quick test, try clicking Options > Cameras > "Reset Order". It probably won't work, if so, perform a clean reinstall.

    Try disabling all mods.
    For some reason, the mod stays loaded and the camera works.
    But I have to use the stock vehicles.

    did the clean reinstall already and it worked ... but everytime i do this my control sttings get reseted also .. is there a way to avoid that ? becuase i have to do a clean reinstall again due to the fakt that the 200 bx is not spawning up for some reason ...( i had that once with the D-series)

    Backup the 'inputmaps' folder in Documents/BeamNG.drive/settings before deleting things, and then put it back after you are done.
    Of course, if you having issues related to the controls/bindings, you should wipe that folder too.

    So I am having the same problem, do I need to a reinstall on BeamNG Drive? If so, will this fix my camera? I have disabled all of my mods and it didn't help.

    First make sure your game is updated to 0.14.0.1. There's some fix related to this.
    If the issue persists, try to wipe your userfolder (Documents/BeamNG.drive) (may be some broken file left there)

    Nothing is working I clicked the link and did the steps and reinstalled the game. Camera is still buggy. Is there any other way to fix this? This used to never happen but when I updated and I got into my first game of the update the camera was under the map and I tried to click C for changing cameras but it didn't work. I only have 2 mods downloaded (Halloween update 2018 and a showroom map).

    I am having similar issues with my game. I have tried deleting all the mods, that didn't work, I deleted all the game files and re-installed twice and it didn't work, I don't think that the issue is on my side. Game works perfectly fine except for the camera, which can be moved around but not linked to the car. Is there a possible temporary fix i could do using map editor or something?

    Yeah same here, hopefully there will there be a update soon for BeamNG Drive because the reinstallations and deleting mods don't work. I can go into free cam and that's it...

    Are you 100% sure you have done the clean reinstall correctly? Have not missed folders like the one in Documents/BeamNG.drive or so?


    If so, please both provide a Support ID so that I can have a look at your logs:

    Not sure what I did but for some reason it's working now after the 3rd reinstall. I downloaded some mods from in-game and they work fine now. I don't know what the problem was.

    To be precise, the logs show you are using a camera mod that seems to be named "OnboardOffset". This is not part of the stock game, and is what's creating your issues.

    On the Link, it says delete folder from steam/steamapp/common? How do I delete that folder and where is it?

    It's potentially a mod you installed.
    You need to remove it from where you installed that.
    If unsure, do the Clean Reinstall correctly, it will remove anything that is not part of the game from your PC.

    You need to delete that to do a proper Clean Reinstall. That's why it did not work for you at first..

    It's located where your Steam installation is.
    You can find that folder more easily in this way (if the game is still installed in Steam)
    Steam Library > Right-click the game > Properties > 'Local Files' tab > Browse Local Files
    It will open the game's installation directory. First uninstall the game from Steam, then manually delete any left-over files that remained there.

    Please make triple sure to not skip any step.
