D3DERR ??

Hi all, I encountered a problem this morning after downloading two tracks. Fijiti and Laguna Seca. I'm only a few meters and BeamNG crash with this error on windows.


My config:
Windows Seven 64
i7 2600k
Asus Sabertooth p67
nVidia GTX660 2GB
16GB DDR3

I looked on the wiki, but nothing helps me.

There is no official support for mods. Is this happening only on the maps downloaded or on all maps?

Do you shut down your computer or put it in standby mode? It only ever seemed to do it when I'd used standby/sleep. Give it a reboot and try again.

This only seems to happen to me on the Nardo ring map.

 

I'm fairly sure that has something to do with direct x so update direct x and if that doesn't work I guess ur fukt

After crashing the Moonhawk, I got this D3D-Error.

I played on Grid-Map.

 

I keep getting this but I also have a problem with my GPU (also a 660). I don't if they're related but I thought I'd just mention it

Yes same here but its probably because of my shitty GPU (gt 630).

 

I don't have any mods, I updated to 1.5 and this comes?

 

I get the exact same problem on my Desktop. Its ridiculous because my HP Laptop can play the game without it ever happening, then my desktop (Lenovo Windows 7 64bit Intel 2 Quad CPU Q8200 @ 2.33Ghz with Nvidia GeForce 9500 GT with 6 gigabytes of RAM) always has it happen, on every map. Downloaded or normal. All my drivers are up to date, Same with my DirectX. And I want to buy a better CPU and GPU (probably the i7 4770k) but I don't want to buy it if it wont solve the problem. My computer was originally Windows Vista back when I bought it in 2008, but it basically gave out so I had it restored and updated at some Computer place. Any ideas on a fix for this? It really sucks that my Desktop (which is a hell of a lot stronger than my laptop) cant play but my laptop can.. hopefully someone has a fix. and this is a pretty good BUMP. lol.

 

I have exactly the same probleme, (d3derr device lost unable to lock vertex shader) this is very, VERY boring... not idea for solve probleme.

my config is ok

(maybe Open Gl will be fix it)

 

I am still being plagued by this problem, wouldn't mind knowing if someone has found the cause or a solution.

i also have this problem, it sucks. i get it after like 10 minutes of playing.

 

I encoutered this error once right before my graphics card burned out. it is weird and happenes without warning.

 

well i havent got this problem since i turned of skidmarks, so i guess thats the fix. (i still want to be able to play with skidmarks tho)

 

Putting the game in fullscreen and tabbing out and in again when the map you want to play has loaded seems to work too.
