The last time I bought a game full price was Forza Horizon 4. Maybe I should stop buying too much games ATM.
If you mean "Full Price" as in AAA release day pricing. GTA5 on 31st Jan 2015 was the last full price game I bought (£39.99). However, I have paid full price for games since then, they just weren't as expensive on release. PubG was the last game I paid full price for (£26.99), which was 13th May 2017, providing you exclude early access, in which case it would be Assetto Corsa Competizione.
Today I did some programming for a game that I have been working on, and have managed to fix a bug that I had spent at least 2 weeks dedicated to solving on a previous project about 7 months ago. Both projects had a similar feature, so I coded it again from scratch (different engines, different languages) and the same bug popped up. After about 5 hours of trying to figure it out, this time I got it. That was the most satisfaction I have felt fixing a bug to date. Anyway, I should sleep now to ensure that I can wake up fresh and ready to program my next eternal nightmare tomorrow xD
I have had a dislike to Epson printers since late 90's. I currently have one only because it was something like 25 euros and came with a scanner unit. This thing is insane, every time you turn it on, it drinks up 1/10th or something like that of ink cartridges, reason I got dislike to Epson originally was the same, it has not changed. Less than a year of ownership and this thing now does not feed paper properly, pulls only from one side and crumples paper, so I lost 1/4 of ink from cartridges just by diagnosing issue and taking thing off from power few times. Never buy Epson, or if you do, make sure to print what you need withing 6 months and never buy ink to it, just get new unit from sale, it will be much cheaper than buying ink and it might last 100 pages for 6 months. Not sure if any of these are any better, there is reason why they sell them so cheap. I kinda was hoping no more expenses for rest of they year, but can't be avoided I guess.
--- I once read in a journal about customer's rights and protection about printers. At the time (3 or 4 years ago) it was cheaper to buy a new printer than to buy a new ink cartridge when needed. And I'm not even talking about planned obsolescence, the printers industry might be the worse.
inkjet printers are terrible, ive got an HP one and if it can't detect a cartridge it will not work, not even try to print!!! why can't the bloody thing try! My old HP Photosmart C4580, good print quality, but inkjet meant it wasn't cheap, and being made in like 2007 it had sh*tty capacitors, and they break down inside the mainboard of the printer, and the printer starts throwing error codes. New HP printer, HP Deskjet, yes it is basic, but it works, ish, every windows update the drivers break and require re-installing, sometimes it just flat out doesn't work, and printing from android now takes 10 minutes for the document to spool!! Not even lying!
Pro tip: Laser Printers* *I've not owned any printers, but from what I hear InkJet printers tend to fail if they are not used frequently, kinda like a car, if you leave it sitting too much it won't be reliable. Supposedly Laser Printers don't suffer from this quite as much.
Speaking of profile pictures... This one I have now is actually custom, despite it actually looking like it was a screenshot from the show.
Not sure where the whole profile pic thing came from, but mine is a car advertisement that’s very high quality that I stole from Gabester.
my profile pic is one that a friend jokingly blackmailed me with by drawing it and writing a mildly threatening statement in MSpaint when I left my computer unlocked one time.
freakin duolingo I’ve been using Duolingo for over a year now, and overall, it’s pretty good. But, today, I lost my 246 day Norwegian streak for no reason. This is the second time this has happened, so now I’m bummed out and pissed off. Good most of the time, stupid some of the time.
Professionally-translated menu stole the show and soon became the hot topic of my date yesterday... Rise with zafferano! *get ready for the saffron-colored zombie invasion*
Got one wisdom teeth pulled today, hurted a bit but I feel better than this morning already. Also went on a nice autumn drive with @Neidjel and @Crashtest Failed yesterday
